Last week more than 1,000 chicken farms across Germany have been banned from selling their products and over 8,000 chickens were culled after cancer-causing dioxin was found in chicken chow.   German authorities have now halted the sale of meat and eggs from 4,700 farms as concern about tainted animal feed escalates. Test results released today showed that fats used to produce some animal feeds contained more than 77 times the approved amount of dioxin.
