  1. Small query: is it Myanmar, or Thailand? I believe they're two different countries.

  2. I think Myanmar used to be Burma, but is now known as part of Thailand. Not sure.

  3. blessings. myanmar is today what was formerly known as Burma and the junta rules there. the opp lady, has been imprisoned for years. a very noble lady . myanmar regime gov is one of the most cruel in the world. they are border to thailand, a separate country and china. thailand has a large chabad emissary there and is north to malaysia. i.e. they share a common north border and malaysia is a peninsular. its south is connected to singapore by a bridge. thailand, malaysia, burma are all separate countries. bangkok is the capital of thailand and the tremors were felt there. as the quake was on land. when sumatra in indonesia has big quakes building s in kuala lumpur, the capital of malaysia shakes. our buildings there are not made to withstand quakes since we never had them.but after the 2004 e quake there, and in north malaysia called penang state, many died, but thailand saw a huge casualty list. thailand has good ties with israel and so does singapore. i hope this helps.
