19 Reasons Why....

........48 Percent Of Americans Believe Another Great Depression Is Likely In The Next 12 Months – 19 Reasons Why They Are Not Completely Crazy

Do you believe that the U.S. economy is steamrolling toward a depression? If so, you are not alone. According to a recent CNN poll, 48 percent of Americans believe that "another Great Depression" is likely within the next 12 months. Americans have been waiting for almost three years for a "recovery" to materialize, but instead there are all kinds of signs that the economy is about to get worse yet again. Inflation is rising but wages are not. There are millions of Americans that would do just about anything to get a decent job. The  "misery index"  is the highest it has been in almost 30 years. All of the recent polls show that the American people are more pessimistic about the economy than at any other time in recent memory. World financial markets are incredibly unstable right now and many analysts are expecting a repeat of 2008 (or worse). Meanwhile, our state and local governments are drowning in debt, the federal government is drowning in debt and governments all over Europe are drowning in debt. No, it is not crazy for 48 percent of Americans to believe that we are about to go into another Great Depression.

  1. Thank you, Devorah. I have been saying for over a year now, that if certain things don't change in this country for the better we may see violence in the streets. I am not a pessimist, I just believ that it is factual and all over my neighbors and friends are talking about it and the administration cannot fudge the numbers any longer. Everyone knows someone or a few people who are out of work and looking for work for months/ years!

  2. We are probably in the third year of the 7 year Shmittah cycle that is described in Sanhedrin 97a where ben David comes in the 8th year or the first year of the next Shmittah cycle. So sometime before the end of 5771, the economy of Western Civilization will probably collapse. So it is a lot closer than a year away. Mashiach ben Yosef will lead the world economic recovery that begins in the 4th year of the cycle. But he will not lead the recovery from Washington D.C., Sydney, Australia, or London, England. That should be obvious to all. Time to jump ship now if you can for EY. If you cannot come here now, find some good gentile friends to ride out the storm in a lowly populated rural or semi-rural area. By the way, the world will hate the fact that Israel is leading it out of the coming economic Depression. So it will be very hard to get here even when the world economy improves. The world at large will not develop a friendly tone toward Israel until Mashiach ben David builds the 3rd Temple. It is hard to know exactly when that will occur in this process if ben David does not show up until the 8th year. Remember this is a process. On an interesting note, the sudden announcement that shale oil reserves are being developed in Israel so that the oil will be profitable to extract at prices hovering as low as $40 per barrel should make Arab bubbling crude obsolete within two years. So the engine to rebuild the world economy will not involve Saudi Arabia. Baruch HaShem!
