London braces for Israeli strike on Iran during 2012 Games
Taking into account the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran during the 2012 Summer Games, the Olympic committee in charge of the London event has formed a special team to prepare for the contingency.

According to the Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronoth on Wednesday., the team — consisting of politicians, diplomats, security officials and organizing committee personnel — wrote in a report that such a strike was entirely possible.

Yedioth reported that the team was also preparing for the possibility of an earthquake or volcanic eruption.

  2. This security fiasco is worrying. Last minute arrangements are being made, but it's just the sort of thing that terrorists can exploit. We should be praying for peace and safety rather than hoping that these murderers get their way.

  4. The other thing is if you have read the set up to the Olympics- it's full of problems. They cannot handle all of the phones taking pictures and sending texts etc...too too many at once they have said. They are worried that they will not be able to get through to emergency help via phones etc.
Also, potential bombers in cars etc....
THe weather they say may also be nasty....
    Does not sound promising....

  6. Retribution will come notwithstanding the refusal to commemorate the Israeli fallen athletes in Munich.

The last time London hosted the summer Olympics was in July 1948. Israel was fighting for her independence after being attacked by 5 surrounding nations.
Whilst London basked in her glory, Israel was fighting for her life.
Britain not only tried to thwart the fledgling nation of Israel by military interference, but sided diplomatically with the Arabs.

This was the third and final strike for the British.

Strike one was the flip flop by the Winston Churchill's siding with Lawrence to appease the Arabs and redetermining the Balfour Declaration of 1917.

Strike two was the signing of the White Paper of 1938 that condemned European Jewry to German crematoria by limiting the number of Jewish refugees to its Palestine Mandate to a mere 75,000.How cavalier ole chap and tally ho !!!

Strike three was 1947-48 as noted above.

Today's Parashat Mattot describes laws pertaining to vows and oaths......something that Britain has failed dismally to uphold.

It continues with its boycotts both economic and intellectual towards Israel.

    London 1948............Londistan 2012.
The writing is on the wall. The sun has set on the British Empire.
As the light of Zohar was kindled on Lag b'Omer, 10th of May this year, a freakish gust of wind extinguished the Olympic flame at Mount Olympus necessitating a re-lighting.
The very first day that the Olympic torch arrived on British soil, another freakish gust of wind extinguished the Olympic flame again necessitating another back up flame.

    Hmm............Time will tell.

  7. BS"D,

    Shalom,

Whether something happens or not, my hope and prayer is that from the Chief Rabbi of Britian down to the poorest Jew leave Britain for Israel.
I pray that the Jewish and non Jewish millionaires and billionaires help Jews leave. Real estate in Jerusalem is hot. A 2 bedroom apt in Gilo, a southern suburb is now 750,000 to 900,000NIS which is at 4.014USD is $186,846.04USD to 224,215.25USD. Please pray that British Jews can leave Britian with their stuff. Remember what happened in Europe. Jews who left early, took their money and things. Jews who left late, could only leave with pocket change if that. Let us see what happens to British Jews 5772.
