Everything's in the Torah

Tonight marks 11 years since my sister and her husband were killed instantly in a freak car accident on 11 Teves.  The parsha at the time was Vayechi, the same parsha we read this week.

Their names were Zev Yosef a"h and Rachel a"h.  All of those names can actually be found in parshat Vayechi.

Yosef - Vayechi 48:1

Rachel - Vayechi 48:7

Zev - Vayechi 49:27

What does it mean?  I have no idea.... but it's pretty cool.

I'm sorry for your loss. May their names and memories be a Blessing.

Eleven is a terrible number. Just consider one event, 9/11:
- the sum of the digits = 11.
- the buildings were a giant "11" in the skyline.
- both buildings were 110 stories (11x10).
- Flight 11 crashed into WTC killing 92. 9 + 2 = 11.
- The IATA flight number was AA11, the ICAO flight number was AAL11, the callsign was American 11.
- The registration "N number" was N334AA. AA is for American Airlines. Replace with the numerical equivalent and you have N33411.
- Flight 11 had a crew of 11.

And on and on...

Stay away from: 9, 11, 19 (e.g. 19 911 hijackers), 911, 119, etc.

Eleven is not really a terrible number..... see
Eleven

Thanks. I saw the "eleven" post referenced. I am one who replied.

There are ten sephirot; the seven and the three. Quoting the Sefer Yetzirah: "Ten sefirot of nothingness, ten and not nine, ten and not eleven." This *just happens* to give us 22 connecting paths (the Aleph Bet). The 10 sephirot and 22 letters *just happen* to give us the 32 Paths of Wisdom. This is just the very beginning.

Eleven lies between the very significant 10 and 12.

1. We have your tragedy of sudden violent death on the 11th.
2. Sudden and violent death on 9/11 with a plethora of embedded elevens.
3. Sudden and violent death in Munich ("They're all gone...) where 11 were murdered - on the 5th & 6th, another 11.
4. Sudden and violent death recently in a Pittsburgh Shul where 11 were murdered.

And on and on...

11 is a terrible number. Even the non-spiritually attuned will never forget that number, which is the day, which is the event: 9/11.

All below from Chabad kaballah: https://www.chabad.org/kabbalah/article_cdo/aid/380053/jewish/Eleven-Days-Fall-from-Edom.htm

1. "These [eleven fallen elements] are the source of these eleven days."
2. "The number eleven is especially significant because it is one more than ten. Ten signifies holiness, the complete functioning unit of the ten sefirot. The array of ten sefirot is perfectly balanced and when operating as intended is the channel for the transmission and distribution of holiness (G‑d-consciousness) throughout reality. Eleven, however, indicates an excess, a spillage, an over-doing or wasting of divine energy."
3. The eleventh ingredient of the incense stinks.
4. The eleven goat-skin overhangings [of the Tabernacle]
5. The eleven curses in Parashat Ki Tavo.
6. This is the mystical meaning of the statement of our sages: "Whoever adds [1 to a Holy 10 giving eleven], detracts." (Sanhedrin 29a)

11 and 19 are wicked numbers. They appear the vast majority of time in significant
terrorist attacks. 11 or 19 killed or it happens on the 11th or 19th (either calendar) or an 11 year old girl is killed or a bombing kills a couple on their 19th anniversary, etc.

I correctly predict major terrorist attacks, the last being Strasbourg, 90% of the time with knowledge like this; numbers like (Hebrew) letters have immutable characteristics - since Creation.

Since I mentioned Strasbourg, I should have said that occurred on the eleventh with five killed and eleven wounded.
