If just one or two million Jews in exile would make aliya then we wouldn't have this problem of gentiles in Israel. Some, but not the majority of Jews in exile are in challenging situations. For the vast majority it is a choice. Please don't respond to my comment by saying how you can't make aliya, as if that's the end of the argument. Use your energy to think creatively, not to shout me down. If you truly want to and truly can't, use whatever platform or influence you have to encourage others to do so, think outside the box, brainstorm. You might not be personally, but the Jewish world is awash with money. Billions of dollars spent on Holocaust museums whilst the Jewish present and future is suffering. Community aliya, aliya villages with caravillot, set up online parnassa that you can bring with you, send your children, lots of French Jews do this, think creatively, take small steps despite your impossible circumstances. Be aliya positive. Be part of the solution.

the assimilated liberals , they will not solve any problem. The jew who comes in Eretz Israel has to yearn to connect and serve Hashem , to return the Holy Presence in the Holy Land.

Yearn for the Geulah from wherever you live. The ingathering will happen once Hashem decides so. That's what we were taught and that's what Hashem wants from you. Regardless of where you live and how awash you are with money....

To first Commenter - great comment! But, Yochanan at 4:59 has a point too. Because of the great number of liberals and leftists, in general, in today's whacked out world and especially those in EY, we have the sad situation of goyim and hefkerut in Israel. Think, first the educational system must be changed in EY where all the public schools must also teach basic Jewish education. The typical non-religious child in Israel knows less than nothing about who and what he is and why he even lives in Eretz HaKodesh, so it's a very important point that the above commenter, Yochanan makes.

Since i'm one to call a spade a spade...

...Regarding Coronavirus as penalty for eiver min hachai, practically speaking, i think the slave-labor surveillance-state which Xi Jinping has imposed, is way more horrible (think Holocaust but worse). If Heaven forbid, i were a citizen of that country, i'd welcome coronavirus vs. the way-worse alternative.

....Not just that, i think the most exploited people are most susceptible to the virus due to weakened immune systems, rather than the biggest reshaim higher up the hierarcy.

R'Mizrachi should cover those two points.
