The Epitome of Sheker

Who to believe?  Every rabbi has a different scenario.
Listen to one rabbi and have hope, listen to another and have despair.
Everyone is confused and truth is absent.

What is Sheker? שקר  Sheker is lies, deceipt.    Even the letters are out of order from their correct listing in the alef bet [ק-ר-ש].

“And that’s how Moshiach is going to be revealed. Moshiach needs to be revealed from the epitome of sheker, Moshiach and his people. They’re not going to be pulled by the sheker. The sheker wants to take everyone. The sheker says: ‘I didn’t say enough sheker. Maybe I’ll say a little bit more, maybe I’ll succeed in saying something else, a different way.’  - “The more falsehood there is, the more truth will be revealed in a clearer way”

These days you need to search very hard to find your own truth.  There is an abundance of Rabbis Impeding the Redemption.  There is an abundance of sheker.

I heard from my teacher and father-in-law, who was the chief disciple of Rebbe Yechiel Michal of Zlotchov, that once when the Baal Shem Tov was traveling on the road, he stepped into a wooded area to pray the afternoon prayer. His disciples were dumbfounded to see him hitting his head against a tree, crying and screaming. Afterward, they asked him what had happened. He explained that he had seen, with divine inspiration, that in the generations before the coming of the Moshiach there would be a multitude of rabbis, and that they would be the very ones who would impede the redemption. [Otzar Chayim]

It cannot be. That the blood of your sisters and brothers in Israel is being spilled and not a word. Friday night was reminicent of a pogrom where legions of soldiers in black uniforms went from street to street and began throwing stun grenades at the houses where the residents of Meah Shearim were forced into. Women and babies crying, men hysterical, old men being dragged into the streets and not a word from you bloggers. How can this be that you stand while the blood is being spilled and remain silent? If every in history there was a time to at least EMPATHIZE with the plight of the Jews in Bnei Brak, Beit Shemesh, Jerusalem and Beitar Illit - it is right this minute. You're posting things that mean nothing. Absolutely nothing in light of what is going on in the Land of Israel RIGHT NOW.

This is a war against every Jew. Make no mistake. What is going on Israel right now will ripple out into the entire world.

starry: I didn't know anything about this, I don't know what is going on in Israel apart from what is printed in the media, and I have not read about those dreadful things. I will find out more today as best I can.

This is well known. Most of the rabbis at the end of days, it is told will be from the Erev Rav. That's why you see many so-called orthdox rabbis aligning with xtian clergy and muslim clergy, which is not allowed. It has always been the tradition not to have religious dialogues with other faiths. This is all being done to confuse the ill informed and there is an agenda to, c'v, merge the religions to make one big one. Of course, that cannot be, as Torah is not a religion but we Jews know it is the Eternal Truth. There were religious rabbis which pushed for and helped for the evacuation of Gush Katif. What about the rabbis who are, r'l, delighted that they have xtians helping them in the Shomron with the grape vineyards to make wine. How can that be kosher? What about the oxymoronic open orthodoxy, a covered up version of reform Judaism claiming to be orthodox. There are so many examples of the chilulei H' going on today as never before. H' help us that Moshiach tzdkeinu arrives in a blink of an eye, as how much longer can this go on? It must be NOW!

Regarding Starry's comment: I suggest readers go to Mystical Paths: mpaths.com
to read about the situation in Israel on a daily basis.

Being an ardent fan of your blog, would appreciate your take on what is written on Mystical Paths, like, your view on what is published there.

Please Devorah, to me at least your take on all this makes more sense to me, than all others, that is including Rabbis of differnt opinions. Not going to listen to them too much.. Follow you, yes i do, and will ..

You can trust Mystical Paths, R'Akiva is an orthodox rabbi in Israel, he's been blogging for a very very long time.
My personal favourite rabbis are the ones who take a positive outlook, not the negative ones. And I dislike any rabbi trying to prophesy the future without giving a disclaimer that he is NOT a prophet. Rabbi Kessin ALWAYS says he is not a prophet and he could be wrong. Other rabbis do not do this, and I have caught out a few who have said things and those things did not happen. Beware of false prophets and remember they are just humans. No matter how much Torah they know they do not know the future for sure and in reality they are just giving us their opinion. Sometimes their egos can carry them away.

Todah Devorah,

Regarding 'egos', not a good thing for anyone to have, especially Rabbis.
Hashem help us all.

I know i need a lot of emunah, even as a non-Jew. Its so hard, its really hard, hope i can hang on...

Will do my best. Amen.

To Starry & also Anonymous-6:39am (re: Gush Katif)

I'm trembling at saying this, but the entire picture sometimes needs to be contemplated. So with all due respect, Starry, while it's good of you to report about the residents of Central Yerushalayim's traumatization, yet (given your censorious tone toward bloggers who weren't even aware of same, for crying out loud) please note that I have a long memory. And I remember reports, from here in the U.S., about the Gush Katif evacuees having also been intensely traumatized, yet there was barely a word of protest from mainstream OJ media or Central Yerushalayim.

Do you see the irony?

After all, doesn't it state "bor sheshasita bo mayim al tizrok bo even"? The mainstream public greatly benefited from the produce of Gush Katif, so why the quiet back then?

Likewise, in the U.S., so many Latino's have migrated from south of the border, and some of them may have American-Indian roots, or may be reincarnations of them. So i speculate that perhaps all the handouts which they're currently getting is a payback for how their ancestors were given short-shrift? (i.e. deliberate broken treaties and exploitation by the European conquerors back then...

Hello, Can anyone tell me if it’s okay for Jews to speak negatively about non Jews. Like it’s okay to speak Lashon Hara about any non Jew . Thanks
