  6. Hashem, Hashem, please grant one of yout humble servant's, Rav Menachem Berel ben Rivka a refuah shelaimoh!!!!!

  7. Why did his daughter post Menachem ben Rivka? Wouldn't she know if there was a Berel in his name? I saw her post. He should have a Refuah shleimah.

  8. I just got confirmation from his daughter that it's "Menachem ben Rivka" without the "Berel." It is not good, he is sedated to keep his blood pressure stable. We need to daven a LOT.

  9. Thanks Rachel. Esther Linder, what you made you think it was Menachem Berel ?

His wife informed us this past Thursday, that his middle name is Berel. Rochel, his
daughter, posted his name without the middle name. Seems when he was called for an
aliya, he gave his name without the middle name. Perhaps he had decided to drop his given name.

HaShem knows who we are aiming our prayers for. Refuah shleima.

  12. Refua sheleima to Menachem Ben Rivka!!! Will someone tell us what was Rav Nir ben Artzi's message of this week. Last week, check on Menachem's blog, he revealed moshiach name will be revealed to rabbis. It was the strongest message I ever read from him about moshiach.

  13. May Hashem grant Rav Menachem ben Rivka a refuah shlemah bmherah. May his work on behalf of the Torah sustain him in life.

  14. Thank you, Devorah.

I included a call for prayer for Menachem Berel ben Rivka in my latest post. It seems that from the commentary here that either that or Menachem ben Rivka is OK, since both really are his name. Correct?

He certainly gave us a boost of hope through his post on Reb Nir ben Artzi's latest message last week.

    "I Reserve Judgment..."

May the Absolute Truth blog continue, with R' Menachem present.

  17. What is his daughter’s Facebook page? I’d like to see it.
I also posted a Refuah Shleima on my blog for those who visit.
I guess I should list both names and people should Daven for both names. In Shamayim they may know him as Berel.

  25. Shalom,

I came across this beautiful prayer for a sick male person, from a Chabad site.
It might help to say this prayer for Rav Menachem.. May he get well soon.. Amen...
Thanks to Devorah, for letting us use her blog.. Hashem bless you Devorah.

May He who blessed our fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses and Aaron, David and Solomon, heal (sick person's Hebrew name and that of his mother), because (Hebrew name of the person who pledged charity for the sake of the sick person and that of his/her father) pledged charity, without a vow, for his sake. In this merit may the Holy One, blessed be He, be filled with mercy for him, to restore him to health and to cure him, to strengthen him and to invigorate him. And may He hasten to send him from heaven a complete recovery to his 248 bodily parts and 365 veins, among the other sick people of Israel, a healing of spirit and a healing of body; and let us say, Amen.

and for those sick females, there is this prayer:

May He who blessed our fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses and Aaron, David and Solomon, heal (sick person's Hebrew name and that of her mother), because (Hebrew name of the person who pledged charity for the sake of the sick person and that of his/her father) pledged charity, without a vow, for her sake. In this merit may the Holy One, blessed be He, be filled with mercy for her, to restore her to health and to cure her, to strengthen her and to invigorate her. And may He hasten to send her from heaven a complete recovery to all her bodily parts and veins, among the other sick people of Israel, a healing of spirit and a healing of body; and let us say, Amen.

May Hashem answer us all favourably. Amen..

  26. Quoting his daughter's FB page:
Update on my father: He’s still in the ICU. He’s on a respirator and can’t move. His condition has not improved. Please keep praying for him. Menachem ben Rivka

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh, gosh, he needs more prayers. More bloggers should be writing about his condition so that more people can be praying for him.
HaShem, May it be your Will to bring Reb Menachem Ben Rivka back to his family and his extended family.

  31. I will pray for Menachem also today. The world will be at a loss without him. It struck me, because I myself spent the last week almost dying from heart attack or stroke, due to lethal blood pressure over 220/150. I got help in time and now have meds to help, but I feel bad because Menachem has still not recovered. His last message on his blog about the dream and name of Mashiach gave me such incredible hope, and I wish that Menachem will be healed by miracle and emerge healthy and happy. I promise you all that I will be praying today for him, and asking The Almighty for miracles. 614.

  32. thanks Jason, I just checked his daughter's page and she has written the following:

I have good news on my father’s condition. They are moving him out of ICU to an intensive geriatric ward. He is moving a bit more and can move his lips to try to talk. Keep up the prayers, they are working.

  33. Boruch Hshem. My family and I have been davening for him.
I was so worried he was on the way to Hashem in shamayim-not yet please-hes helping us prepare for Moshiach!!
If you notice his last post before shabbos he wished everyone - in bold- good shabbos. I looked back months and months of his posts and didn't see that type of message. I was concerned he was sending a message.
Hodu l'Hashem ki tov ki lolam chasdo, may we continue to share good news of Rav Menachem ben Rivka's complete and speedy recovery and may those lips of his bring us more words of chizzuk!!
    Thank you for the update!
