Dodeca and anyone else who is wondering: I have removed a blog from the Blog Roll as I will not link to anyone who publishes items designed to create disunity and unfounded hatred amongst Jews. As there is no option to comment there, no-one can even leave a message pointing out the lies and exaggerations contained in the video denigrating Chabad.
I am not affiliated with Chabad whatsoever. And I agree with you.
A blog that does not allow comments, or a blog owner who does not publish comments that she simply disagrees with (cuz maybe I brought out my points too well....), has no purpose!
Devorah I listen to the video and I got upset this Rabbi was talking about the messianic Chabadniks which even Chabad is against.. I pray with Chabad for almost 40 years and I never heard a Rabbi say that the Rebbe was moshiach. The Rebbe created a safe haven for Jews around the world which other Jews did not do. What Chabad did is bring HaShem closer to every Jew what is so wrong to be hopeful that moshiach is imminent, and what is wrong living that moshiach is here just not revealed yet, it makes life less stressful and makes you work harder to do mitzvoht... I rather pray, sing and try to get closer to HaShem and wait for final redemption with joy, then just sit and wait like a dry and boring vessel..
NOT THE 1ST TIME.... Rabbi Bar Hyam is very controversy. Google. THAT Generally speaking, it is never a good idea to attack others. It is even a worse idea to attack an Av Beit Din and Rabbi who publishes Torah thoughts. At times, however, when a kosher minhag in Klal Yisroel comes under attack, it is necessary to enter the fray. I feel particularly bad about this, because I have had enjoyable discussions with Rabbi David Bar-Hayim. Nonetheless, the attempt to besmirch the minhag of not eating Kitniyos on Pesach by attributing it to Karaite origins by Rabbi David bar Hayim (http://koleinu.com.au/qittniyoth-kitniyotkitniyos-a-qaraite-custom/) demands a response.
Now, at the End of Days, we see the true nature of people, including those having blogs discussing the subjects of geulah and Mashiach. This is for the fact that the shekhinah is getting stronger, thus the gap between good and evil becomes wider. The case of slandering the Chabad movement and the Rebbe is an example. The contribution made be Chabad to Judaism is immense, we should not forget that Rebbe was the messenger of the good news by announcing the coming of Mashiach in 1992. The separation of good and evil, and the consequences of this End of Days event, does in fact make the separation between true Jews and Erev Rav. The later won't survive.
Very very good and everybody can already see the deceivers and the wolves dressed in sheep's clothing meaning the horde pretending to be real jews and dress like real jews but can not hide their filthy and twisted feelings anymore and the good side and the bad side is seperating massively and little by little, real jews are coming back showing more amazing miracles.
The Erev Rav is hiding like the darkness running from the light. That include those not allowing genuine comments and collecting slander material information against Judaism. To promote lies about the true tzadik the Rebbe of Chabad is a great sin. But we expect such behaviour at the End of Days when the accusers will be judged in the yom hadin.
Just thought I would add a comment to the matter of a certain blog being removed here. I agree with you about the negativity the blogger brings and would just like to add that she writes that the Chabad believes that there can be someone who is already gone from the world who can be Moshiach. None of us know who he is yet, until he comes; but there are sources that tell us it can be that it will be someone who will come back from the past who will be Moshiach and especially, it is written about Dovid Hamelech himself who can be Moshiach. We and no one else knows who it will be! Another point, the Rebbe himself, I think, might be disappointed in what is going on with a number of things, but that's what happens when a movement remains leaderless and others take over. Believe everything written in her blog about Rubashkin himself and his 'so-called crime' is just her opinion, because everyone feels and the facts prove he was set up. Opinion on this matter has no place, just the facts and the facts have proven that there was a miscarriage of justice.

ReplyDeleteToda!
DeleteI did the same when this blogger posted this negativity. I have not been back to visit.
DeleteNot sure of who was doing so, but good on you for removing negativity, Devorah. :)

DeleteThanks you for standing up for the Rebbe's honor.

Honestly I tried to watch that video but it was so slow and boring that I fell asleep and missed his main points.

Thank you everyone for your support and comments. I think we will now end this discussion and move on to more positive thoughts.
