May the glory of Hashem be revealed with rachamim and bring the long yearned for Geula! Even on this blog, I feel united with wonderful Jews across the globe! Good Shabbas to all!!

  5. I can't find any reference to this anywhere else. It's not on the Breslov site as of today and doesn't show up in a Google search. What organization is behind this and where can I learn more about the event?

  8. It seems a french initiative, obviously. It is a mitzva to spread it ,even if the pessimistic in me is already discouraged that "just " the religious ones will pray.We should add a line in this prayer that our brothers will join us.Better,we should pray for them every day

  13. Don't want to upset anyone here, but let's think together: if Mashiach would indeed arrive now, perhaps 90% of the Jewish people would be doomed to destruction for being totally disconnected from HKB"H and His ways. They would perish together with the resha'im from Edom and Yishmael. It would be the same situation as Yetziat Mitzrayim, where the majority of Bnei Israel preferred to remain in Egypt and were killed and buried by H" during the plague of Choshech.
We should instead organize mass prayers to request that all our Jewish brothers who are distant from H" should do Teshuva. We should support the major Kiruv Rabbis and organizations - for instance R. Yaron Reuven, R. Mizrachi, R. Kachlon & others in the same level - both by donating substantial amounts and sharing their videos and books.
Only then should we pray that H" send us Mashiach to perfect the world.

      Redemption will include everyone

    2. Correct. Redemption will include all Jews. Read “knowing G-d’s Plan” by Rabbi Luzzato and or Gesher HaChaim. Hashem did not put us here just to destroy us. Not to mention, nobody is going to fall through a crack in the universe. It’s all good.

  14. Rafael,

I think we are not supposed to wait until everyone has done teshuvah before we ask for Mashiach. About 1/3 of the Amidah is Moshiach related, so we are in fact davening 3 times a day and asking in all manner of different ways (techiyas ha'meisim, UMevei Goel Lvnei bNeihem, Goel Yisrael, Tka Bshofar, Vleyerushalaim, Es tzemach David, Rotze, etc etc).

Who said Hashem will destroy disconnected Jews, maybe Moshiach will bring them back. I personally feel that the delay is not because of estranged Jews (who are probably not to blame) but people like me who should know better.

  15. Dear Gershon, I didn't say we're supposed to wait, the idea is that we should instead actively contribute to mass Teshuva by supporting kosher Kiruv organizations and spreading the message.

I'm aware of our daily requests for Geulah, thanks anyway for the reminder.

As for who said that H" will destroy the disconnected Jews: we're talking here about those who desecrate Shabbat on purpose, eat taref, intermarry etc. - this is explicit from the verse "Uvah leTzion Goel, leshaveh peshah be Yaakov", it means the Redeemer will come to those who repent from their sins, not just for everyone. There are other sources, but I'm mentioning just one of them that I heard during lectures by eminent Rabbanim. If it were for me, I'd gladly extend to all brothers, but there is a precise system of reward and punishment that we must accept.

Last but not least, I totally agree that the Jews who already keep mitzvot should take every opportunity to improve, correct our middot and do Chessed, this also will hasten the coming of Mashiach B"H.

  16. Rafael,

You are definitely correct we should support these kiruv organizations and the holy work they do.

It is interesting the ordering of the pasuk you quote, first it mentions Geula and then teshuvah. I am sure there is a lot going in that passuk that I don't understand.

Anyway - enjoy the rain coming to Petach Tikvah, we will receive it about an hour later in Ramat Bet Shemesh.

  17. We cannot know with such precision what is necessary to bring the Geula. It seems it may be multiple approaches...daving for Moshiach, supporting kiruv, working on ourselves.. Can we say one is more important than another? But to categorically say that if Moshiach came today, many would not be redeemed, I cannot believe this. I often beg Hashem to have mercy and redeem ALL His Children... and while some of the posts here attempt to calculate numbers and who's in and who's out, I say in the end, Hashem loves ALL His Children, and that only Hashem will make the cheshbonos which I know will reflect His Rachamim. So let's not keep score on anyone else but our selves and let's not think that those who aren't keeping Shabbas will not come home.. we all know that teshuvah can be done in the blink of an eye, and that Hashem eagerly awaits the return of all His Children... I know I need to work on myself and support Torah for all Jews.

  18. Yes, for sure do teshuvah and try to bring others back. We are doing this and I believe it's possible that even the announcement that Moshiach is on his way will be enough for some- even those scattered far and wide(from understanding anything authentically jewish.
With what is going on now, and that the world is switching over to newer platforms for info suggests that people are waking up.
With what is slated(or even talked about) here in America there seems to be not enough time to wait or go light on teshuvah or influencing others.
We need to speed this up. As many who can daven for Moshiach, it's a good thing...

  19. Rafael, Unknown's reply to you is correct. The teshuva movement has been around for decades with many organizations involved all over the world. H' will redeem every Jewish neshama this time around - we have reached the end of days. At the last moment, every Jew will do teshuva, according to his/her capacity of understanding & knowledge. The main thing is they will know there is ONLY H'! Moshiach is very close at hand. Believe H' has even placed good people from the non-Jewish world to end the evils and corruption within the world powers and the righteous of the world will become Bnai Noach and know there is only H'. The yetzer hara has to be cleared away so only the good will remain forever. Believe everything is part of a process but H' is hastening everything now, so MBD, H's servant, will reign as King for the world, thus the world will know there is only Hashem, Ain Od Milvado!

  20. Gershon, I think you are a Tzaddik.

Personally, I am of the opinion that Hashem should be in awe of us all who still believe that Moshiach is coming. So many Jews I know of think Moshiach is a fairy tale. There's not even any point trying to convince them otherwise, they look at you as though you are mentally unstable.

Right now the world seems to have hit a dead end. We are surrounded by Covid, looking down the barrel of a Biden presidency, and Trump has been humiliated and scorned. So this is his reward for all the good he has done? It doesn't make sense to me on any level.

If someone can explain it to me, I'd be extremely grateful.

I guess the Rabbis on You Tube are waiting for the 20th to happen before they give another lecture. So we have a few days to wait until we know what is actually going on, from their perspective anyway.

I'm trying to ignore everything and just get on with life, but I'm not too thrilled about the world right now, and there doesn't seem to be any brightness on the horizon.

  21. Hi Devorah. There is so much going on here in the US. Personally, I don't believe Biden will be pres. Could I be mistaken? Yes. There is so much under the coat, yet too much to type.....
    Moshiach must come....

  22. When the Final Redemption comes b'ita - in its time - it arrives like Shabbat. Nothing we do can delay it or prevent it. It comes whether we are ready for it or not.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Devash is absolutely correct. In its time, Moshiach MUST come, as our holy Sages tell us. Whether we are all bad or are all good or whatever. H' has His timeline and nothing can stop it. We are now in that era! May it come easily and speedily! We pray for his Goodness & Mercy.
