Message to Am Yisrael

H/T Rivka

HaGaon haYanuka

First he meets the soldiers, shiur starts at the 3min mark.  Hebrew with English subtitles.

To see the English subtitles, click on the cog at the bottom right hand corner of the video, click Subtitles and navigate to translate to English.

Right at the beginning he talks about Gog u Magog and says "it is an entirely different matter"....

For all the Noahides, approx 11.30 mark he speaks about the righteous of the nations.

  7. I couldn't find the subtitles either until my friend told me how to....
Click on the cog. It will give you the option of subtitles in Hebrew or English, and if you fast forward to the 3 min mark where he starts speaking, the subtitles will come up in English.

I have only heard 15 mins so far, will listen to the rest later and if you still can't access the subtitles I will tell you what he said. Unfortunately there is no transcript available, but I promise you the subtitles are there because I am seeing them.

  8. Also make sure you click on the "CC" next to the cog and that the "CC" [closed captions] has a red line under it, which means it is turned on.

  9. He said we should not be afraid of anything because Hashem is with us. He prayed for the return of the captives and said Hashem wants us to be united.
Obviously he used a lot more words than I am using now.

He didn't say anything else about Gog u Magog, except the few words he said at the beginning, that the sages talk about it, but that this is a different matter.

I don't know what he means. He didn't clarify it.

"The sages teach us in the Talmud in the Tractate of Blessings on Page 13 page 1 = "I am making a new one and you will grow... let Rabbi Yosef know that this is the war of Gog u Magog".... Sages are trying to explain to us - they talk about wars and say Gog u Magog, but Gog u Magog is a different matter that does not belong to talk about it. And surely G-d blessed be He is full of mercy and there is nothing to associate everything that the world says about these matters. "

That's all he says about Gog u Magog. So it's not really clear what he means.

  11. I think he means yes we are in a war...the one that brings Gog magog war but that war or let's say the next stage of this very one is His war. Hashem's battle of which he wasn't even going to explain such a display. But we have some nevuas to help us.

I also think that this, our holy rebbe, speaks of avodas Hashem and matters of this world, devekus and achdus more than he touts over prophecy. It is my belief that he is a Nasi. Here to bring us the Sanhedrin in its time. Maybe he is puoposefully not doing Eliyahu's job bc he will be here soon enough.

  13. Towards the end the Yanuka gives many , many beautiful brachos and repeatedly brachos about Techiyas HaMeisim. Techiyas HaMeisim comes with Moshiach, so I found the brachos he gave to be the most comforting part of the entire speech. TC

  14. Devorah the brutal betrayal article makes sense!

I was reading an interpretation by Rabbi Mansour about the words of Ula re: Chevlei Moshiach (Yesei Velo Achminei - i.e. Moshiach should come but I shouldn't see it).

I believe Rabbi Mansour stated there may be a deeper meaning to Ula's words. Something to the effect that Ula foresaw the high-tech of Moshiach's times which would enable everyone to view the terrorists' horrors via videos and media. So Ula is saying "Velo Achminei" - Better not to view the video's aired during acharit hayamim, as they'll cause such emotional stress, as to interfere with people's lives. Don't fall for the trap set by the media and terrorists.

Due to my imprecise memory, these aren't R' Mansour's exact words, so allow for poetic license. But with that said, I found his take on Velo Achminei to be quite profound.

  17. Not good at all. No one in this difficult time wants to hear that Moshiach is calculated to arrive in 2-3 years from now. Chas Veshalom to wait even another day.

    1. It’s not happening in 2-3 years. Don’t worry. That was just a final keitz he believes he found. It’s happening now and all the sings are here that Moshiach is happening NOW.

  20. I can't be more explicit, just increase everything to add zechuyot for am yisrael especially before and during this shabbat, especially tsniut for women, and for men not looking chatting etc, and shmirat shabbat. Improving tsniut also applies to frum women.

  21. We are past the time of calculations and signs. Time to get out of our heads and just be in our emotions, crying for Moshiach, also feeling the simcha of the geula, like anticipating an upcoming holiday is part of the pleasure.

Every day a new detail comes out about the 'matsav'. One of the hostages was heavily pregnant, and she is considered to have given birth in aza. Even hte birth process of the geula has been taken captive.

  22. The story of Holocaust survivors who survived the October 7th Hamas Massacre
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVlfElxoutE

    Utterly unbearable and heartwrenching.

I can't for the life of me understand any Jew with geula consciousness who is still calculating and pondering, and who is not, at least once a day, in their own words, demanding the geula shleima berachamim this very minute.

There is nothing else to wait for, not stars, weird weather, elections, shmitta cycles, economic crashes, whatever your thing is, just this unbearable pain.

The monsters cut a fetus out of a live pregnant woman.
An actual Shoah survivor is in Aza right now.

And it's not like this is over, in a myriad of aspects.

  23. Malky, I don't see what difference that makes. We obviously have to keep the halacha on relevant issues, but surely we can have a heart for someone, Jewish or not, caught up in the evil being perpetrated against us. Whoever the new mother is, this was hardly her birth plan.
