Total Eclipse Rosh Chodesh Nissan 5784

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.  [Joel 3:4]

We've had a lot of information about Geula taking place in Nissan this year.  So I was very excited to learn that on April 8 - which corresponds to Rosh Chodesh Nissan 5784 - there will be a Total Solar Eclipse and the sun will go dark.

The moon turns red during a lunar eclipse, but lately we haven't been having lunar eclipses and the moon has been a myriad of colours, notably this bright pink the other night in Queensland Australia.

The sun has also gone dark at other times, and it has nothing to do with an eclipse. This happens when one of the planets blocks the sun for a minute or so.

Actual photo of the full moon in Queensland about 10 days ago.

  3. That's amazing Yaak thank you.

Just a note here... we have two opportunities this year for sighting the Star - the Kochav Yaakov - on the 25th day of the 6th month. The sixth month is generally thought to be Elul, but there is a question mark over the sixth month being Adar. We have two Adars in 5784. "

    In Rabbi Palvanov's video"
he shows us that in the month of Elul 5784 the day of the week being a Friday corresponds with the Zohar's prophecy that it will be a Friday, whereas this is not the case in either of the Adars.

So whether it will be Geula in Nissan or Geula in Tishrei is unknown.
Nevertheless, all the signs are pointing to 5784 and let us hope it's sooner rather than later.

  10. I think this is a really auspicious time for moshiach. We know that after really terrible things happen to the Jewish people Hashem consoles us. The rebbe taught that a descent is only for the purpose of an ascent. I think the solar eclipse is related. We always hope and yearn for moshiach but more than ever I feel it now— everyone is talking about moshiach.

  13. My only concern here is that Ari Goldwag said that the end of the 9 months is on the 25th of Adar Bet. Not on Rosh Chodesh Nisan (April 8) so hard for me to see the connection to his video. On the other hand, it is incredible that the solar eclipse lands on Rosh Chodesh Nisan. Hoping we welcome Moshiach well before then (Today!)

  14. Isn't it just a bit coincidental that the very date Ari Goldwag settled on was 25th Adar Bet, and that is also a possible date for the sighting of the Kochav Yaakov ? The 25th day of the sixth month, when you count the months from Tishrei [as they do in Israel]. However the Torah counts the months from Nissan, making Elul the sixth month.
If we see that Star, the Kochav Yaakov, on 25 Adar Bet, the world will not end, so presumably we'll still have the eclipse on R'H Nissan.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Don’t we hold by the Torah- that the 6th month would be in Elul?
Also, the presumed kochav is not until Elul and its exact date can not be predicted yet. Moshiach can come in Adar/Nisan or before. It’s not a contradiction if this star/planet predicted for Elul comes after Moshiach’s arrival!

  17. Yes but did Ari specifically mention 25 Adar II ? I honestly don't remember, all I know is that I have had 25 Adar II on my mind because of the Kochav Yaakov, and not because of anything else I've heard until now.
Correct me if I'm wrong and Ari did say 25 Adar II.

    1. Yes, he did say in the video that the 9 months ends on the 25th of Adar. He then said we should see incredible things regarding the transition into MBD for up to 70 days (70 days later is Yom Yerushalayim).

  18. ok, thank you. I'm going to listen to it again, when I get a chance.

That's probably why I got so excited about that date, because it coincides with the possible sighting of the Star. And I also remember calculating 70 days from 25 Elul and ending up on 6 Kislev, and I don't think that date is significant in any way.

  21. Did you know that ALL solar eclipses take place on either Rosh Chodesh or Machar Chodesh? It has to do with the moon's orbit and the fact that the Hebrew calendar is a lunar calendar.

That said, I read somewhere that the 9th plague of darkness was connected to a total solar eclipse in Egypt; Goshen, where the Hebrews were, was outside the path of totality, and thus had light. (Yes, I know that the darkness there lasted 3 days, while a solar eclipse can last a maximum of about 7 minutes; perhaps that's how the darkness began.) But consider, if Makat Bechorot happened 2 weeks later, that would have also put the eclipse on Rosh Chodesh Nisan. So that eclipse would have been 2 weeks before a redemption.

Let us hope for a repeat performance!

  22. Our Hahamim in EY say that we will start to see Mashiah light in Adar and Geula Shelema in Nisan. So, I think by Purim we will start to see it and by Rosh Hodesh Nisan until the Erev Pesah we will have MBD. Another thing what I think is if we count two Adar alef and bet as one then the sixth month from Tishrey is Nisan and 25 Nisan which will follow on yom shishi will be the end of this word Asiya where we live. geula will be with rahamim.

  24. Yeruchem,

You asked what is significant about Rosh Hodesh Nissan. First of all, in general, Rosh Hodesh Nissan is extremely significant.

But, to clarify, the eclipse is to take place EREV Rosh Hodesh Nissan. While the Hebrew date is significant as it is the last day of the year for kings and shtarot, there is another significance to that day based on the Tekufot, which is based on the solar calendar.

See my posts about why this is significant this year:

    Part 1
    Part 2

    Tekufat Tevet is this Sunday.

Tekufat Nissan is April 7th, while April 8th is the first full day of the new Tekufa.

I believe it strongly but I don’t want to feel great disappointment if G-d forbid it doesn’t arrive. Then, we may stop paying attention to any predictions and calculations and tzaddikim saying it’s about to arrive. I sure believe it is coming now in 5784, any moment. Just wanted other opinions on this. Thank you.

  26. When we talk about Moshiach being very close, are we talking about MBD or MBY? Can’t MBY be a long and difficult process keeping us in golus in the same situation? It’s confusing because we say bonei yerushalayim (rebuilding of the beis hamikdash) before ez tzemach Dovid (MBD) in Shemona Esrei. So, can’t we learn our from there that MBY will rebuild the Beis Hamikdash before MBD arrives? However, it’s confusing since The Rambam says that Moshiach (MBD) will rebuild the beis hamikdash, bring every Jew back home to Eretz Yisrael, all part of the Geulah Shelaimah!

    -Zahava

    ReplyDelete
  27. My understanding is that MBY cannot build the Beis haMikdash, since he is to go out to battle. And the one who builds the temple cannot have his hands sullied by war, however just. Same reason that King David could not build the first temple; his son Shlomoh had that task because Dovid haMelech fought many battles, not to mention slaying Galyat.

  30. Yes I found it fascinating that it's the Chinese year of the Dragon, and the comet which looks like a dragon in the sky is predicted to arrive.

That would have to be the Kochav Yaakov, described by Rabbi Moshe Cordovero as being red and shaped like a jack. It has a lot of debris attached to it's tail.

But the dates you have given do not correspond to any of the dates we have for it to be seen, which is the 25th day of the sixth month... which is probably Elul but could be Adar - or should I say probably Adar and could be Elul...

The kochav yaakov comes at Pesach the night of redemption as did Comet Austin on april 9, 1990 at the time the Lubavitcher rebbe announced the geulah had come. 5750 is the date for redemption in Zohar It is noon on the Friday in the 6000 yesr scheme.. Zohar Parsha Terumah says 1990 raquain firmaments that the celestial prince Eliyahu would rule over. 1991 soviet union fell and the rebbe said the geulah had come. We are now in the techiyas hamesim.

So what you have written may be referring to spiritual realms, but here on earth we have not experienced Geula, in fact we are experiencing the opposite of Geula, in that we have the birthpangs of Moshiach and the world is insane.

    1. Geulah is a process. Geulah means redemption as the Rebbe announced its beginning. Rav Steinsaltz and others taught this. It began in 1990 5750 with that comet at Pesach and Eliyahus return. That is all in my treatise with details from the mekubalim.. We are in the global soul awakening now part of the process. As people gain soul access to Shechinah they understand. We are entering a new stage of this now thru this spring. The eclipses are a 7 year period during a global magog mania when political fascism will end and renewal will gain momentum.

  35. The Monster Slayer Smoking Mirror total eclipse this April 8 with the "Devil Comet" appearance dancin in the "central plaza"(Hopi prophecy Frank Waters). A new world age is emerging during the Tibetan/Asian year of the Wood(living) Dragon. Another star dragon Pluto(axis underworld) completes its 248 year cycle where it was in 1776. 1776 + 248= 2024. The Pluto return Phoenix cycle and rebirth of the USA. The fifth world Buddha age begins. This comet has a 70 year orbit and was mentioned in the famous talmudic passage.(see first comment)The great celestial dragon associated with the eclipse is called the Teli in Hebrew: "Theli (Hebrew: תְּלִי‎, Təlī; also translated as Tali, Thele, T'li, etc.), according to the Sefer Yetzirah, the earliest extant work of Jewish mysticism, is a celestial being who surrounds the universe. Theli is briefly mentioned in two verses[1] of the Sefer Yetzirah, where he is described as "above the universe, as a king on his throne".[1] However, his overall purpose is never elaborated upon, and the Sefer Yetzirah itself does not attribute a particular form to Theli. Despite this, in the few sources which mention him, Theli is generally envisioned as a dragon. From the Sefer Yetzirah:" CHATER VI
    1. In proof of these things, and witnessing faithfully are the Universe, the Year of time, and human theirself, the Microcosm. He fixed these as testimonies of the Triad, the Heptad, and the Dodecad; the twelve constellations rulers of the world, the Dragon (THELE) Tali which environs the universe, and the microcosm, human.
The triad, fire, water, and air; the fire above, the water below, and the air in the midst. The proof of which is that air is a participator with both.
    2. Tali, the Dragon, is above the Universe, as a king on his throne; the sphere in the year as a king in his State, the Heart of man as a king in warfare." The Teli Dragon is also called the "AXIS" as in this translation:"3. The axis is in the universe like a King on His Throne, the cycle is in the year like a King in the
province, and the heart is in the body like a King in battle."

  36. According to the Zohar, MBY (Rav Kook from Tveria for sure according to our Hahamim in EY) will beat Amalek Nasralla and all reshayim by Pesah. it will be no more wars after Pesah, it will be finished. First event will happen is Mashiah MBD (Rav Eliezer Berland ? , not shure) and the 3rd Beit Hamikdash (Rosh Hodesh Nisan - Erev Pesah), then kibutz galuyot and then tehiat hametim. So, learning from the past we know that future redemption will be in Nisan and that is why I believe 25 Nisan is the 6 month where Kohav Yakov (and/or atom bobm)will happen and there will be tehiah hametim. It will be Ahishvena rather Beita. Beita according to Zohar is the year 6000. Geula will be with much Rahamim. Our Hahamim say just wait patiently and do not make any sins. it is a few months left until Geula Shelema.

Rabban Gamliel and Rabbi Yehoshua were traveling together on a ship. Rabban Gamliel had sufficient bread for the journey, while Rabbi Yehoshua had bread and also some flour. [The journey lasted longer than expected, and] when Rabban Gamliel’s bread was finished he relied on Rabbi Yehoshua’s flour for nourishment. Rabban Gamliel said to Rabbi Yehoshua: How did you know from the outset that we would have such a substantial delay that you would need more flour? Rabbi Yehoshua said to Rabban Gamliel: There is one star that rises once in seventy years and misleads sailors at sea, causing their journeys to be extended. And I said: Perhaps that star will rise during our journey and mislead us.

Rabbi Yehoshua knew that a comet would likely be visible during his sea voyage, and that its light would confuse the sailors who navigated by the stars. That comet returned about once every 70 years.

The kochav yaakov was the one which brought Eliyahu back at the Pesach. Zohar explains this in Terumah. This appearance at a total solar eclipse is very rare happening only after many centuries if not millenia. My treatise explains all the connections. This star is a herald for the new aeon the beis hamikdash hashleishi. Study the Yetzirah verse just posted. It has the secret of the Teli dragon which is also discussed in the Tikkunim Zohar as the upper Tanin. The kochavim unite the folk souls or sarim of the nations.
