Rabbi Efraim Palvanov
Does the first chapter of Genesis secretly allude to the major events in the history of mankind? How do the Six Days of Creation parallel the past six thousand years of human civilization?
Find out in this class where we review the key developments of history through the lens of Torah, Talmud, and Kabbalah, and take a peek into what’s to come in the long-awaited seventh millennium. Also: does AI have anything to do with the forthcoming Messianic Age?
Was very interesting & informative, but he inserts things the Orthodpx world is really against. For someone who is so kabbalistically inclined, he tends too muvh towards the scientific world of today. The religious Jewish world does not approve of AI. The 7th Millenium will be when we will connect to Hashem in a way that is still hard to fathom. Olam Habah will be a world of pure bliss when we will connect to Hashem on such a high spiritual level. It will be perfection.
ReplyDeleteWe can imagine robots helping out and inventions such as that make sense, but the AI, I believe is a very dangerous step down and is one of the things that will steer us downward, just like many things in the last 100 to 200 years (new ideaologies,etc.). But, there are also the good things. We will choose the good over the evil.
bracha
I think you mean to say that the orthodox world is against AI for certain things, but not others. For example, AI is used to process medical data and can sometimes diagnose things that doctors have missed. It really depends on what the AI is being used by and for what purpose.
ReplyDeleteWe won't need AI because we'll be living with miracles from Hash-m. Daas will fill the earth as the waters fill the seabed. What point all the technology when Hash-m will be healing the sick and making whole the blemished and bringing the dead back to life? TC
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that AI is "intelligence" without a G-dly soul. Sounds like chochma of the Sitra Achra. When Moshiach comes, we will feel the Shechina. Why would we need computers? TC
ReplyDeleteBut Moshiach isn't here yet. I agree we won't need it when Moshiach comes.
ReplyDeleteUntil then, it is like everything else, it can be used for good or for evil.
Devorah - the Rabbi is talking about the world to come, not now. So, his suggestion about the AI does not hold water. Anonymous & TC are correct.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, if it is 'Artificial', how can we trust (speaking for the present time when it is being used already) it?
Everything that is artificial is really man-made to begin with, so mistakes are sure
to come. Anyway, these man-made things are no different than any other 'human' made
thing. Trouble is that even rabbis of today cannot seem to believe that there will
be miracles and that only human being have the intelligence to create, c'v.
They should go back to studying the Rambam's 13 Principles of Faith,

We do not know everything that will and will not happen when Mashiach comes and the decades after.
ReplyDeleteThe Rambam tells us that the only thing that is certain is the end of wars between nations.
Everything else we think will happen is speculative.
(We do though have a strong idea that all the Jews will be gathered to Israel and the Temple will be rebuilt.)
For all we know, Mashiach might use AI.
Moshe Rabbeinu was the Mashiach of his generation, but even he didn't do everything without help.
He was advised by Yitro to appoint judges to help him.
Yikes... at this point I have to tell you that I haven't even listened to this, and probably won't listen now. I now understand why TC was getting a bit aggravated.
ReplyDeleteI just haven't had time to listen to anything in the last couple of days.
I'm not really into sci-fi Moshiach concepts, I"ll stick with the concepts we already know about Moshiach because it's confusing enough.
I can't download this short clip, but if you go to Instagram, or just type this link into your browser, you can hear Rabbi Simon Jacobson speaking about Moshiach being close

Quoting: "we are on the verge of a new spiritual order.... and these are the birth pangs, the last gasps of an old world order"
ReplyDeleteAnonymous Kabbalist: If Mashiah doesn't come by Pesah, no longer call me a rabbi

H/T http://mashiachiscoming.blogspot.com/2024/02/the-shabbos-meal.html
If it’s an “anonymous kabbalist”, then what good does it do us? Anyone on the internet can anonymously say “don’t call me a rabbi anymore if Moshiach doesn’t come within 10 minutes”
Delete-Yisachar
An Anonymous commenter complaining about an anonymous kabbalist....
ReplyDeleteand I'm willing to bet that Yisachar is not your real name.
That's ok, you don't need to put your real name.
I'm just saying.
We are all anonymous . And Yisachar is my real name. If you can please answer the question, because it’s very hard to feel any excitement about a kabbalist making such an exciting statement but choosing to remain anonymous. I’m not sure why you chose to attack me. We should all be with tremendous ahavat yisroel.
Delete-Yisachar
What can I answer you? It's just a link to a video, you can either look at it or not. If you have a problem with it, maybe leave a comment on the You Tube site.
ReplyDeleteI feel that you attacked me for even putting it up as a link.
So I just pointed out the irony of an anonymous person being annoyed that someone else chose to remain anonymous.
I wasn’t criticizing you for putting it up. Just wanted to understand better why we should believe the video. I thought maybe you know more about that YouTube channel than me and other viewers. It does sound like the speaker is definitely not making it up. I don’t think he has any gain in making up such a story. May we welcome Moshiach today!
Delete-Yisachar
No I don't speak Hebrew, so I know as much as you do.
ReplyDeleteMost Mekubalim do not give their names and there are very good reasons why this is the case, especially on the internet. So I don't find it problematic in that way.
Whatever the case, he is genuinely saying this and as a Mekubal he's not going to say something like this without good reason. We are all answerable to G-d, even if we are anonymous. Even anything I put on my blog, although people don't know who I am, I am just a "Devorah" - it is still something that I have said or written and Hashem will judge me on that.
So the planets are real? They are on your blog.
ReplyDeleteDanielle
Yes Danielle the planets are real. I am 100% certain and if I wasn't I would not blog about it. I have followed this topic for 18 months, I have seen proof on a daily basis, even with my own eyes.
ReplyDeleteI am also certain they are part of the Geula, it was the first thing that came to my mind when I learnt about it.... and that is why I had to blog it.
The sky is blocked by planes drawing lines. Why? Ask yourselves what they are hiding.
ReplyDeleteApparently the pilots of these planes think they are doing a mitzvah by blocking the heat of the sun.
ReplyDeleteThey are really drawing the lines to block the view of the planets visible at certain times of the day, usually sunrise or sunset, all grouped around the sun.
You have no idea how we have been lied to by NASA all these years. The extent of all the lies told to us by governments is unbelievable.
There are so many wonderful and exciting things on this blog about Moshiach, especially as we are so close. I sometimes forget about their significance. Can anyone here explain what is so unique about the solar eclipse expected on April 8? Don’t we have a solar eclipse around Chodesh Nisan every few years? Thank you
ReplyDelete-Miriam
I think that the unique thing about the eclipse is that the Kochav Yaakov will be visible - so I'm told. It's called Comet 12P Pons Brooks
ReplyDeletehttps://www.astronomy.com/science/the-devil-comet-is-headed-our-way-and-thats-still-ok/
I can't remember where but this was brought to our attention by Margolis in the comments. If I have time I'll look for it.
Then what is the difference between this comet and the incredible comet rabbi palvanov was talking about for Elul?
Delete-Miriam
Well I'm pretty sure it's the same comet. The dispute is whether it will appear in Adar or Elul, because it says "the 25th day of the 6th month".
ReplyDeleteRabbi Palvanov says 25 Elul is a Friday which matches the prophecy, whereas 25 Adar is not a Friday in either of the Adars.
The brief appearance of this comet on April 8 which is R'H Nissan ties in with Ari Goldwag's prediction of Moshiach in Nissan.
It's all "unknown", we are just waiting.
Unknown but exciting as we know Moshiach MUST be imminent! What’s the connection between the 25th of Adar Beis and the comet on Rosh Chodesh Nisan?
Delete-Miriam
Miriam there's a discussion on this blog post linked below, in particular the comment from Margolis at 12:20

For those who are discouraged by a vision of the Future that is limited to the laws of nature and scientific/ technological advances, I encourage you to read The End Illuminated series by Rabbi Yisroel Moshe Sorotzkin. Also in order to expand understanding that Hash-m is the sole creator and cause of everything and Who creates the laws of nature in order to give us free will, I recommend learning chassidus. TC
ReplyDeleteWhat we a;; meed to understand is that in the Messianic era, the supernatural
ReplyDeletewill become the 'natural'. Everything in this world is a miracle, the nature itself
G-D is Creating it daily and when we will be in the Messianic era, the World to Come,
what we always understood as open miracles will be the 'natural' because we will
be on a physical but extremely high spiritual level connected to the Almighty.
May the Geulah Shleimah come immmediately with great mercy and kindness to all ewish
neshamot and the righteous of the world.

hi Devorah from Canada where I saw what looked like 2 suns in the sky yesterday. I work by a big open window and at sunset the clouds opened and there they were - a bit shocking. Thankfully I have followed your blog for years so I knew about this. I rushed to take a picture after the shock wore off and getting others nearby involved but was too late for a great photo. I did manage to get a photo of clouds showing a circle of light above and a sun below - so pretty good. What exciting times we live in. R.H.
ReplyDeleteWow I'm so glad you saw it... it was probably the yellow moon belonging to the planet Isatum. It looks like a second sun. Yes it would be a shock, seeing it in real life rather than just a photo. The only planet I've seen in real life is the left side of Napisiti, it's massive and my view was blocked, but I was so excited.
ReplyDeleteRH I just heard Sam say that the "second sun" on the left of our sun, is actually the tan asteroid lit up. So that's probably what you saw. If it wasn't lit up, then it was the yellow moon from another planet.
ReplyDeleteThe actual second sun is still behind our sun, as far as we know to date.
