Thoughts on a couple of things Rabbi Kessin spoke about... (incredible shir)
When Moshiach ben Yosef builds the Third Temple (a fitting Place for HaShem)..... is it possible... that the reason ben Yosef builds it, is because he is a man who actually has learned how to conquer and overcomes the evil inclination... once and for all....building UP that Temple/mankind ... of HaShem... and teaches it to all people who want to go in that Direction towards HaShem....?
where when, ben David comes in, he has conquered it to the point of drawing down the Shekeniah.... DOWN to enter into that built up Temple/heart of mankind.... for HaShem's Presence to dwell in?
Does ben Yosef learn of HaShem, and His Torah, and how to overcome that final battle, and teaches it to mankind, somehow... conquering... doing the final battle ... making room for ben David to take us to the next level... after overcoming our evil, and make a good and perfect dwelling Place for HaShem to dwell AMONG/INSIDE... of mankind???
I know this is a little redundant, and I'm repeating it, but trying to make sure the point comes across... clearly.
Maybe the world is looking for that particular building, so they can tear it down when they see it go up, (like Noah's Ark). but... what if it comes in a way no one expects... hidden away .... like the Moshiach... hidden away...but there even more so... fortified and strong from within... having kicked that serpent man out of his heart/Garden, so to speak... it's being built even now.... every time we learn how to overcome an evil thought, an evil deed, a word said out of line, a neglect done... every time we can learn to rise above it, it is tearing down that evil inclinations position and stronghold in our hearts... the final destination ...
So How Is It Going to Happen? As for how the Temple will ultimately get rebuilt, it is a matter of dispute between the classic commentators.
Maimonides teaches that the Temple will be built by Messiah himself, and in fact its construction will be one of the signs that he is indeed the Messiah.13 One of the Messiah’s first orders of business will be to use his spirit of prophecy to discern who is a priest, as well as the tribal affiliation of each Israelite.14 Additionally, we will have the ashes of the red heifer to purify those who are impure.15
Others are of the opinion that in the messianic era, the Temple will descend ready-built from heaven.16

According to Tosafot in Eiruvin 43b ד"ה האי, it seems that Mashiah can only not come on Shabbat and Yom Tov before the night meal, but he can come after the night meal.

Another question: There seems to be a conflict of opinions on how many days' notice Eliyahu Hanavi gives before the arrival of Moshiach, with some saying one day and others saying 3 days... Would you happen to know which of these opinions is more widely accepted, and sources for each?
There is no specific rule that Eliyahu Hanavi has to come before Moshiach. He can come after Moshiach arrives. It’s discussed by the rambam in hilchos Moshiach.

Yes sounds about right but he will not build a new temple rather he will find the original mishkan built at sinai and reassemble it.

Moshiach can come on Shabbos or Yom Tov. You might be referring to the machlokes. I think the general opinion is that it can.

I listened to the whole lecture. The redemption process doesn't necessarily have to take as long as he says. Moshiach can come now.
