  1. Why does he calculate the Jewish exile to be 2025 years - in line with the start of the Xtian calendar? The destruction of the 2nd Temple was in 70 CE, so it's only 1955 years.

    1. Read Rashi’s commentary on Lech Lecha. Hashem informs Avraham that his descendants will be exiled in Egypt for 400 years, and then that the fourth generation will return. Exiles are calculated from the beginning, and in the case of the current Roman exile, from the time that the Roman Occupation of Judea started their current calendar.

  2. Thank you such much for posting this video. Your blog is so much fun. May Hashem bless you and your family with lives until 120 filled with Torah, Mitzvot, Gemilut Chasidim, Health, Parnasa, and All the Best. To answer the anonymous poster, the Jewish people are the ikar of History. I count the Galut Edom (Roman Exile) from the year 0. It really has nothing to do with jc penny. King Herod died in the year 0, the Romans than exerted control over Eretz Yisrael, and Herod's sons were just proxy rulers over the Land. You do make a good point, because in Gemara Megillah, the 70 year calculation of the Galut Bavel did start with the destruction of the the 1st Temple. May Hashem send Eliyahu HaNavia and Moshiach ben Yosef speedily to answer our questions.

    1. "Torre dei Conti" means "Tower of the Counts" in Italian, referring to the historic fortified tower in Rome built by the powerful Conti family. It was originally commissioned in 1238 by Richard Conti, a relative of Pope Innocent III, as a fortified residence and a symbol of the family's power and prestige in the city. The tower was also historically known as the Torre Maggiore or "Greatest Tower" because of its impressive height in medieval times.
