One Mitzvah

This is not an ad for Jews to do a mitzvah, this is a direction from the NSW Government to all Australians, who have previously never even heard of this word.   It's giving Geula feels.

  1. A National Day of Reflection will be held today to honour the victims of the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach.

People across the country have been asked to light a candle at 6:47pm and observe a minute of silence, exactly one week on.

6.47pm was the time the shooting began last Sunday.
Today is the 8th candle lighting, maximum light, it is also the longest day of the year here in the southern hemisphere. Again maximum [sun]light.

That's a great deal of light shining from Down Under.

Honour the victims of the recent Bondi Beach Terror Attack/Massacre

Bring some light into the world

The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, spearheaded a major initiative to encourage non-Jews (Gentiles) to observe the Seven Noahide Laws—universal moral principles like prohibitions against idolatry, blasphemy, murder, theft, and establishing justice—as a path to universal spiritual betterment and world peace, believing every Jew has a duty to spread this message for a harmonious global society before the Messianic Era. This vision led to the modern Noahide movement, where Chabad-affiliated groups actively teach these laws, emphasizing ethical living and belief in one God for all people.
    The Rebbe's Core Message
Universal Mission: The Rebbe taught that all humanity is bound by these seven core ethical laws, forming a foundation for a godly world.
Jewish Responsibility: He stressed that it's a Jewish obligation to promote these laws among gentiles, helping them fulfill their spiritual purpose.
Spiritual Elevation: Observing these laws enables non-Jews to achieve a high spiritual status and brings the world closer to redemption (Moshiach).

The Seven (Noahide) Laws are the foundation for a Godly human, earthly society for universal humanity. Men and women are equal in their responsibility to observe the Seven Universal Laws. These Seven Laws are bound for all mankind and are the pillars of human civilization. The laws outlined below are a very brief and basic explanation of each of the Seven Noahide Laws.

The Noahide Laws teach that the world is built through acts of Goodness and Kindness. These laws continue to be highly relevant to life in today's society. They are pillars of human civilization and are the eternal value to uphold an ethnical, moral, valuable, meaningful, truthful, and just society!

The Rainbow is the Sign of the Covenant that God has made with all of humankind.
