Israeli strikes on Iranian fuel depots on Saturday were reportedly more extensive than the US anticipated, sources told Axios.
A US official told the publication the IDF had notified the US ahead of the strikes, but it was reportedly caught off guard by how wide-ranging the attack was.
“We don’t think it was a good idea,” a senior US official said.
“The president doesn’t like the attack. He wants to save the oil. He doesn’t want to burn it. And it reminds people of higher gas prices,” a Trump adviser told the publication.
Mr Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are planning to arrive in Israel on Tuesday, local time, amid the disagreement over the strikes, a senior US official told Channel 12.
An Israeli security official said the strikes were intended in part to send a message to Iran to stop attacking civilian sites in Israel, Channel 12 reported.
Neshama this is exactly what should happen. Just killing the IRGC is not what will bring down the scourge. Could this be why all those different animals and fish were movingin a circles? Did they sense that Masiach is coming? Also, Rabbi Glatstein quoted the Maharal that mashiach would be groomed in a palace in Arabia. Esoteric!
The news everywhere is disaster, financial collapse, no fuel, food shortages, stockmarket bloodbath.... if I didn't believe Mashiach was coming, I'd be terrified. People will start to pray to G-d even if they say they don't believe in G-d.
