The Lubavitcher Rebbe always said "tracht gut vet zein gut" - think good and it will be good. Rabbi Saadeh quotes the Hebrew of this phrase and it's gematria.... which is 786. So this is the year of "think good and it will be good". But don't miss all the other gematriot he brings for the year, I've just told you one of them.
May Hashem look upon us just as a loving and compassionate father looks upon his tired and weary children and use His Compassion to tip the scales in favor of His tired and weary children. Amen Rfael Yaakov
I specifically stated "His children" so that it includes non-Jews because they too are definitely included and weary and trying to hold on. Rfael Yaakov
Amen hope he is right amazing gematrias . I have thought this year for a few years now was a great possibility! Also the 1335 years prophesied in Daniel hints to 2026 or 2027.
I have nothing personally against this rabbi whatsoever. However, history has shown us that when someone designates a specific year for Mashiach to arrive—even if that year holds great potential—it often does more harm than good.
There is a fundamental distinction between setting definitive dates and providing a Torah-based perspective on current events by quoting our holy sources, such as:
The king of Persia will taunt the king of Arabia. The king of Arabia will go to Edom to seek advice from them. The king of Persia will return and destroy the entire world. All the nations of the world will tremble and be terrified and fall on their faces. He will seize them with labor pains like the labor pains of a woman in labor. Israel will tremble and be terrified, saying, 'Where shall we go? Where shall we come?' And he will say to them, 'My sons, do not be afraid. All that I have done, I have done only for your sake. Why are you afraid? Do not fear. The time for your redemption has come. Not like the first redemption, so the last redemption. For the first redemption was for you sorrow and the bondage of other kingdoms. But the last redemption is for you no sorrow and the bondage of other kingdoms.'
Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi said that Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi said: Rome is destined to fall into the hands of Persia... Rabba bar bar Chana said that Rabbi Yochanan said in the name of Rabbi Yehuda, son of Rabbi Elai: Rome is destined to fall into the hands of Persia.
Tosafot on Avodah Zarah 2b: Persia's eventual fall to Rome (Sanhedrin 98b) will occur shortly before the Messianic age, when Rome will briefly hold global dominion.
What these sources do is help give one a perspective on current events from Jewish literature. They allow us to process the events we see in the world today through the lens of Chazal, without the pitfalls of definitive date-setting.
Mordy .... no-one has definitively set a date. We don't know the date. But we do know we are almost there. You're like a wet squib in the middle of a bunch of fireworks. Sorry to be so blunt but you can't deny the gematriot and we are all awaiting the coming of Moshiach, may it be soon in our days.
Also, tell me when, in the history of anticipation of Geula, have we EVER had ALL the signs ??? Answer: never. Until now. We have all the signs. We're almost there.
This is for Mordy and I just want to say that you cannot deny the gematriot that Rabbi Saadeh has uncovered and you can be as negative as you like but you cannot stop our enthusiasm because the Rabbi has uncovered a hidden message and we ar very excited becuase we know we are almost at the end. Chaya
I hear the excitement from everyone, and I want to be clear: I am not here to deny the power of the signs we see today or the intrigue of the gematriot. We are clearly living in unprecedented times, and that energy is something we should all value.
My point isn't to stop the enthusiasm—it’s to ensure we have a solid foundation for it. History has taught us that while signs are meant to wake us up, they aren't always a "countdown clock" that we can calculate perfectly. If the signs are truly all here, then the best way to honor that "hidden message" is to move from passive excitement to active preparation.
If we are indeed at the end, then the most positive thing we can do is prepare ourselves with the practical knowledge we’ll need for the Geula. Instead of just watching the clock, I’ve found that diving into these works helps turn that anticipation into something tangible and lasting:
Days Are Coming by Rabbi Moshe Silberstein (Mosaica Press)
Hilchesa Limeshicha by Rabbi Shlomo Baruch Alon (Israel Bookshop Publications)
The Original Second Temple by Yoav Elan (Feldheim.com)
May our enthusiasm be matched by our preparation, and may we see the revelation of Melech HaMashiach together very soon.
The gematria of שכינתא meaning Shechinah, the standard standalone Aramaic form, as found in the Zohar and HaTargum, whereby when one adds the otiyot hakollel - the letter count within as well (+6) makes it complete and thus equals 787 or תשפ״ז: The Complete and Final Redemption hence: Thefinalredemption.net

Thank you so much for posting this shiur! I was really surprised that he didn't go back to Shir HaShirim 7.1.
ReplyDeleteI thought he was saving it for a dramatic conclusion. Did I miss it? I was really trying to pay particular attention for a 'return' to that pasuk.
He discussed שּׁוּלַמִּית and the permutations/786, but there's that hei on the front of הַשּׁוּלַמִּית :
