The World Today - February 2026 Pt 5

Strange events around the world, on the earth and in the skies.

Welcome Adar

Adar is a month with miraculous potential.

It kicks off with the Annular Solar Eclipse which you can read about here, and will be followed by a Total Lunar Eclipse on Purim.

The Arizal says that each month represents a part of a person's head. The month of Adar represents the "nose".

Sweet smell, says the gemara Brachos [44b], gives pleasure not to the body but rather to the Neshama.

The Bnei Yisaschar explains that when Adam and Chava ate from the Eitz HaDaas [Tree of Knowledge] they used all their senses for the aveira [sin] except their sense of smell. The pasuk says: she saw, she listened, she touched, and she tasted. But nowhere does it say that anyone smelled. Therefore the sense of smell has a certain purity that is unmatched by the other senses.

It is therefore appropriate that for the great Nes [miracle] that took place in the month of Adar, the month of smell, that both of the heroes of Purim, Mordechai and Esther had names referring to smell.

Mordechai's name says the gemara Chulin [139b] is hinted in the name of the fragrance used in the Ketores called Mor Dror or Mira-Dachya as translated by Unkelos.

Esther's real name, the Megila tells us [2:7], was Hadassa - the sweet smelling myrtle tree. Since a person's name represents their true inner self, Mordechai and Esther with their lofty purity were able to avoid the pitfalls of Achashveirosh and his materialism during his party and even while living in his palace.

During the special month of Adar where these qualities reign supreme, these two pure tzaddikim saved Klal Yisroel from destruction.

Ikvot Moshiach: The Time Immediately Before Mashiach

Keep your head to the sky whenever possible

This is the world we live in.

Text by J. Immanuel Schochet

The time appointed by G‑d for the Messianic redemption is a closely guarded secret. Nonetheless, we are offered many hints to recognize its proximity: when certain conditions come about, await the imminent coming of Mashiach.

Most of these conditions are quite disturbing, clearly displaying a situation of the very “bottom of the pit.” One major source describes the world-condition in those days as follows: increase in insolence and impudence; oppressing inflation; unbridled irresponsibility on the part of authorities; centers of learning will turn into bawdy houses; wars; many destitutes begging, with none to pity them; wisdom shall be putrid; the pious shall be despised; truth will be abandoned; the young will insult the old; family-breakup with mutual recriminations; impudent leadership.

Other sources add: lack of scholars; succession of troubles and evil decrees; famines; mutual denunciations; epidemics of terrible diseases; poverty and scarcity; cursing and blaspheming; international confrontations nations provoking and fighting each other. In short, it will be a time of suffering that will make it look as if G‑d were asleep. These are the birthpangs of Mashiach, bearable only in anticipation of the bliss that follows them.

“When you see a generation ever dwindling, hope for him… when you see a generation overwhelmed by many troubles as by a river, await him.” “When you see nations fighting each other, look toward the feet of Mashiach.”

Little wonder that some sages expressed apprehensions about those days in terms of, “Let [Mashiach] come, but let me not see him.” The prevailing attitude, however, is to await his coming in spite of all, even if thereafter we shall merit no more than sitting “in the shadow of his donkey’s dung!”

The troubles and agony of chevlei Mashiach [birthpangs of Mashiach], however, are not unavoidable:

“What is man to do to be spared the pangs of Mashiach? Let him engage in Torah and acts of loving-kindness!”

Moreover, there are also good and happy signs indicating the imminent coming of Mashiach: a good measure of prosperity; a renewal of Torah-study; and opening of the “gates of wisdom above and the wellsprings of wisdom below,” evidenced also by scientific and technological discoveries and advances; a manifestation and propagation of the mystical teachings of the Torah; and also “In the time that Mashiach will awaken, many signs and miracles will occur in the world.”

Shalom President Herzog

President Herzog's visit to Australia concluded yesterday, with his Melbourne visit, and another massive demonstration estimated to be around 30,000 people. Demonstrators marched down Swanston Street to Parliament, accusing Herzog of being a war criminal.

Source: 9News

It has been said by more than one journalist, that it is puzzling as to why Albanese actually agreed to the invitation in the first place, and Albo himself must be wondering how he got himself into this situation.  But ultimately, this is what Hashem wanted, and so President Herzog visited Australia, and this drove the anti-semites crazy and brought them out onto the streets.  In Sydney it was like a battle-royal which included police moving in on muslims who had decided to begin praying in the middle of a blocked off zone.  It seems like we have a civil war here: muslims and anti-semites vs the Silent Majority.

But the last word goes to President Herzog, and this is what he had to say about Australia and the anti-semitism that greeted him.

Prophecy and the Iran Showdown

Tamar Yonah interviews R' Doniel Stochel - click here for podcast

Prophecy and the Iran Showdown - The Tamar Yonah Show

Four classical Jewish sources, spanning nearly two thousand years, foretell a cataclysmic war involving Persia (Iran) at the End of Days. These are not vague allusions. They are specific, detailed, and converging on the very geopolitical reality unfolding before our eyes.

1. Pesikta Rabbati, Piska 36 “Rabbi Yitzchak said: The year in which the King Mashiach is revealed, all the kings of the nations will provoke one another. The King of Persia will provoke the King of Arabia…and the entire world will be thrown into panic and confusion.”

2. Talmud Bavli, Yoma 10a The Gemara records a dispute regarding a prophesied war between Persia and Rome at the End of Days. One opinion holds that Persia will fall to Rome; the other holds that Rome will fall to Persia. The passage establishes that a decisive confrontation between these two civilizations must precede the arrival of Mashiach.

3. Tosafot, Avodah Zarah 2b The succinct 7 line Tosafot o details how Edom will squash Persia. Their downfall clears the stage for Redemption as this final event precedes Mashiach’s imminent arrival

4. Kli Paz — Rav Shmuel Laniado (1603–1657), Commentary on Isaiah 34:6 Writing over four hundred years ago, this great Mekubal of Aleppo identified “Bozrah” in Isaiah’s prophecy as the Hormuz.[Also see Hormuz and the Final War in the End of Days] He declared that a “great slaughter” (Iran) would take place there at the End of Days, and sealed his words with a blessing: “Happy is the one who understands this sign before the Redemption.”

On this show, Tamar speaks with Reb Doniel Stochel, author of the upcoming book: 'THE FINAL REDEMPTION' as he takes us through prophetic sources of what we might expect, especially concerning Iran, and the Final Redemption.

The Time Has Come

R' Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev lifted his pure eyes to Heaven and said: "Master of the World! You have exhorted us in Your Torah, "You shall not cause any pain to any widow or orphan." [Mishpatim 22:21]

We, Your nation Israel, are orphans, as the Navi laments: "We have become [like] orphans, and there is no father." [Eichah 5:3]

"I turn to You today, O Father in Heaven, and I beseech You to have mercy upon Your nation of orphans who are languishing in a bitter exile.  The time has come for You to take us from darkness into light!"

That's the Sky - and That's a Passing Planet

Video: Rabbi Yuval Ovadia

Rav Ovadia mentions the sources for the star: the Kochav Yaakov, and one of those sources at approx 8.42 on the video, is the star mentioned in Shirat Devorah  5:20. From heaven they fought; the stars from their courses fought against Sisera.  And it says that in the End of Days it will be the same ! [those are the Rabbi's words, not mine]

Devorah HaNevia timeline as a judge was 2654-2694.     The year 2694 was 3,092 years ago.  If 5786 is the year of Geula, those same "stars" will appear again to assist: from heaven they fought....

Two Suns over New Orleans: note the two lens flares confirming two sources of light

This is not a mountain, it's the top of a passing planet.

Link to original photo here [Facebook] - Panorama shot: the photographer is a known member of a group, she was coming out of Target with her grandson. Location: Virginia.  She saw the top of a passing planet on the horizon.  "it was rising here in Va. yesterday. We came out of target my grandson says look grandma. I stop got out of the car and snapped the pic pano because it was rising up across the skies." [A pano pic is a panoramic shot - a photograph with an exceptionally wide field of view, designed to capture scenes that exceed the capacity of a standard lens.]

Go ahead and save the photo to your device, then check it on any AI Image Detector and you'll see it is real.

She knew it was real because she's a regular sky watcher.  She did what any good sky watcher would do, took a photo and uploaded it to the Sky Watcher group.

"But it's impossible".

Obviously it isn't impossible because it's happening.

This is not a trick or a scam or anything like that.  I promise you this is reality.  But this photo is off the scale obvious, if you know you know.... and if you don't you'll either have nightmares or get your eyes checked.  No need for either.  They're not crashing into us, and we're not in any danger.  They are still millions of miles away. About 46 million miles away, as they are between the earth and the sun. They are passing by, a few minutes.... and they've disappeared.  It's pure mazal if you happen to see them. I wonder if there is some kind of blessing to be said when you see something like this.

Herzog Down Under

Israeli President Herzog arrived in Sydney today to provide comfort and support to the families of the victims of the Bondi massacre.   And everyone has lost their mind.

The State Government has rolled out the heavy duty barricades... it's like New Year's Eve all over again.... half the city blocked off.... workers told to avoid the city in the afternoon, a massive pro Pally demonstration will be taking place with over 5,000 expected, which will probably turn into 50,000..... these people don't have regular jobs obviously... and there will be thousands of police ready to arrest anyone.    Death threats, Jews taking out full page ads in all the major newspapers to protest his visit.... you can't make this stuff up.  [The "Baruch Haba" stamp was not part of the ad... it was added by someone else on a post]

Things That Make You Go Hmmmm

"Think about this - Every Arab League nation, every single one, has signed on to the peace agreement, the ceasefire. Most European nations have."

That was Mike Huckabee, in an interview with Australian Andrew Bolt.  Huckabee can't understand why Australia is not in a hurry to sign on.  US Israel Ambassador and former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee delivers blunt message to Labor on Donald Trump's Board of Peace

This whole "Peace Board" sounds Gog u Magog-ish to me.

And coming up soon we have Purim, with the blood moon and the sun going dark due to the eclipse, as well as the Megillat Esther code showing the words 5786, fire and vaporize.

There's something else about Purim which is interesting.....
On 16 January 1979, the Shah of Iran was exiled which means that on 16 January 2026, Iran had been under the rule of the IRGC for 47 years.  We also know that Trump is the 47th President.
Now if you count the days from 16 January 2026 - which is the 47 year mark of the Shah's exile -until Purim 2026..... it amounts to, yes you guessed it, 47 days.

I'm not making a prediction, I'm just pointing out this fact.

So, bearing all this in mind, consider the fact that we have a solar system passing close by earth, which is being kept secret... and it's getting very visible now, there will be no denying it soon.   Meanwhile they still palm it all off as AI or something.....  this video is not AI, I do not put AI on my blog.  You can clearly see the two lens flares, which proves there are two sources of light.

Why Dissension is Compared to the Plague of Frogs

by Rabbi David Hanania Pinto

The Maggid, HaGaon HaTzadik Rabbi Aryeh Shechter zt"l, in his sefer 'Aryeh Sha'ag', imparts a wonderful lesson concerning the plague of Frogs.

As we know, the plague of Frogs began with one gigantic frog that slowly emerged from the river.

The Egyptians wished to kill this huge frog that had infiltrated their land and began hitting it forcefully. But every strike caused more frogs to emerge from it and filled the land of Egypt with their multitudes.

Seemingly, if a rational person would be standing at the side viewing the actions of the Egyptians, he would turn to them with the following question: "What do you think you are doing? Have you gone crazy?! Can you not see that with every strike more and more frogs emerge? The blows are not helping at all, leave the frog alone and the plague will diminish!"

But this is the nature of man. When he acts out of anger and an intoxication of senses, he loses his discretion and hits everywhere without a trace of logic or benefit.

Maran the Steipler, the 'Kehilot Ya'akov' zt"l, explains that a similar reality sets in with every fight and argument. When a person sees that his friend acted against him, he does not sit by idly but repays him twofold. After that, his friend pays him back and so it goes on until the two sides are left with only 'a tooth and an eye', with the fire of dissension growing hotter and being prolonged.

Turning to one of the rivals and trying to inject some logic into him by saying: "Keep quiet, don't respond, why do you need more mud-slinging and disgrace?" will result in him replying with blind anger: "No, he started, I'll show him business!"

So, for every blow that one strikes one's friend, loads of new 'frogs' emerge, and the fire of argument intensifies and increases infinitely.

Therefore, any time one is faced with a dispute, friction or quarrel, it is important to remember the verse: "You shall love your fellow as yourself for I am Hashem." Indeed, it is not easy to swallow one's words when someone else is spreading false reports about you and publicly degrading you, but if you keep in mind that "I am Hashem", that Hashem is looking at all that is taking place and sees how you are not responding to all the degradation and slander, it is easier to guard one's tongue and count oneself among those who are insulted but do not insult.

If a person understands that all the suffering and distress he endures in This World is not happenstance but set in motion by an intentional Heavenly hand, he will realize that anyone who humiliates him is simply a messenger of Divine Providence, a means of afflicting him for his sins. Then automatically there is no reason at all to return battle, rather it is in place to search one's deeds and understand why this evil befell him.

The Origin of Yitro's Soul

Chassidut by Rabbi Herschel Reichman

Our Sages say that Yitro had seven names. The Shem MiShmuel takes an in-depth look at the names, Yeter and Yitro. Yeter was Yitro's gentile name, before he converted, and Yitro is the name he chose upon converting. Rashi explains that the name Yeter connotes that he increased the Torah with one parsha, when he advised Moshe to set up a judicial system.

The Shem MiShmuel asks two questions. How does Yitro's non-Jewish name Yeter indicate that he added a parsha, when he only advised Moshe after he converted. Additionally, why did Yitro keep his original gentile name Yeter, adding just the letter vav, instead of taking a completely new Jewish name?

The midrash contrasts Esav and Yitro, who were polar opposites, in five ways. The five qualities correspond to the five senses.

1]  Esav's descendants, the Romans, committed adultery [related to the sense of touch], when they conquered Jerusalem, while Yitro gave his daughter to Moshe in marriage.

2]  Esav devoured Israel like bread, representing taste, while Yitro shared a meal of bread with Moshe.

3]   Esav did not fear Hashem. This is related to vision, because when one sees Hashem, one fears Him. Yitro recognized Hashem.

4] Esav gave up the bechora and the privilege of bringing korbanot. This corresponds to smell, as korbanot are referred to as "rei'ach necho'ach" a good fragrance. Yitro brought sacrifices to Hashem.

5] When Amalek, Esav's descendants, heard about the exodus of Egypt, they declared war against the Jews. Yitro, however, came to join them. The midrash actually contrasts them in a sixth way as well. This sixth trait utilizes the collective of all senses together. Esav represented sinat [hatred of] Yisrael while Yitro signified ahavat [ love of] Yisrael.

The gemara says that Esav was wicked from the beginning until the end of his life. We know that Hashem gave man the gift of bechira, free will. Didn't Esav have free choice? Bechira begins with man's unsullied innate personality which can be used for good or evil. Once choices are made, certain characteristics form. These characteristics then become habitual and harder to change.

Kayin was the first murderer mentioned in the Torah. He was given gevura, strength, which he could have used for the good. Instead, he perverted his personality, chose wickedness by violating the three cardinal sins, and is considered the progenitor of all evil.

Although Hashem gives us free choice, he is saddened when we sin. In spite of this, Hashem doesn't abandon man's original potential for good and wants to redeem it. This happens through reincarnation. Kayin died an evil man. One of Yitro's seven names was Keni, the identical letters that spell Kayin. Kayin's soul was reincarnated in Yitro, who inherited his good traits.

Yitro had enormous inner strength. He discovered monotheism, stood up as one man alone against an entire nation, and was shunned and blacklisted by his people. Esav received Kayin's evil middot [character traits]. He too, transgressed the three cardinal sins, was an egoist, and was jealous of his brother Yaakov. Esav was given amazing powers to rectify the evil of Kayin. But he chose not to do so and died an evil man.

Hevel embodied the trait of humbleness to an extreme. He too needed to be reincarnated because he did not live up to his potential. His humility was smothered by the evil of Kayin. Hevel was reincarnated in Moshe who was the humblest of all men. Moshe's anava [humility] did not prevent him from action. It brought him closer to Hashem.

Yitro and Moshe were none other than Kayin and Hevel reincarnated. Yeter means something more. It is the power of extraordinary courage, which brought Yitro to go against the world and join the Jews in the desert. Moshe told Yitro to keep the name Yeter, signifying admirable strength. However, he advised him to add the letter vav, which refers to Hashem, to make it Jewish.

Every one of us has a Kayin and Hevel within us. We struggle with self centeredness and weakness. Our true personality is enslaved to bad passions and habits. However, we can redeem ourselves by tapping in to the powers of Yitro and Moshe. By summoning the courage to do what's right and taking strength from Hashem, we can defeat the evil side within us.

Trees and the Hidden Channels of Communication

In honour of Tu b'Shvat  - the new year for trees.  To learn more about the customs of eating fruits go to The Seven Species of Israel

from the writings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov; translated by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan

Many types of fruit do not grow in some lands, only because people do not understand.

The world has a foundation stone. Channels emanate from this stone, reaching every land. The Midrash teaches us that the wise King Solomon knew the details of these channels and was therefore able to plant all types of trees.

If people knew the exact location of these subterranean channels, they would be able to grow fruit trees even in these lands. They could grow many that never grow there now.

Each channel has the power to stimulate a particular species. Even if a particular channel does not pass through one land, all channels are intertwined and flow into each other. If one knew the exact place, he could plant any type of tree.

If one knew the location of all channels, he could dig a well and know where to plant trees around it. He could then make any type of tree grow.

The foundation stone of the world constantly rises and descends. If one knows its position, then he knows what to plant at a particular time.

All these things are concealed from the world for some things may not be revealed.

People say that the world is gaining knowledge, but earlier generations made the primary discoveries, and this took the greatest wisdom.

Later generations make discoveries only because earlier ones prepared the way. One generation makes the basic discoveries, and later generations apply them, but the latter contribution is really the smaller.

The Talmud says "If you would not have removed the piece of clay, you would not have found the jewel under it."

There are things that may not be revealed, for if they were revealed, later generations would make an idol of them. There is knowledge that may not be revealed, for later generations would use the basic knowledge and continually add to it, often irresponsibly. They could then develop concepts leading to cataclysmic discoveries.

It is written [Lev. 19:23] "When you enter your land and plant any tree... three years shall its fruit be forbidden to you". The Zohar teaches us that the evil forces of klipah dwell in trees during these first three years.

Earlier generations misunderstood this and thought that they were obliged to worship a tree during the three years that it was under the influence of the klipah. According to their error it was a logical necessity to make such a tree an object of worship.

The Story of Devorah haNeviah

[Shabbos Parshas Beshallach is known as Shabbos Shirah, because of the song which the Jews sang to G-d at the Splitting of the Red Sea on their way out of Egypt. The matching Haftorah is the song sung by Devorah the Prophetess - Devorah haNeviah - after the Jews won their battle against Sisera]

Devorah was the only woman who was both a Judge and a Prophet. The only man who accomplished that feat was Shmuel/Samuel who bridged the Period of the Judges and the Prophets.

According to Rashi, there were forty eight male prophets and seven female prophetesses. The seven prophetesses were Sarah (wife of Avraham) Miriam (sister of Moshe and Aharon), Devorah, Chana (mother of Shmuel), Avigail (wife of David) Chuldah and Esther.

Devorah's style is described as "sitting under the date palm of Devorah," meaning that for reasons of "tzniut," or modesty, she did not wish to meet with male litigants in private. Therefore, she "set up court," performing her duties as Magistrate and as Teacher and Transmitter of Torah, in the great out-of-doors.

The Midrash places her in good company when it says of her that "Moshe, David and Devorah sang to Hashem and the Holy Spirit rested upon them." [Mechilta Beshalach 6]

The date of the reign of Devorah was 1130 B.C.E. The People of Israel had been oppressed by Yavin, King of Canaan, and his fearsome general, Sisera, for twenty years. In a prophetic message from Hashem to Devorah, Hashem informs her that the time has come to cast off the yolk of the King of Canaan, and that the task should be performed by Barak ben Avinoam along with a small army of 10,000 men taken mainly from the Tribes of Naftali and Zevulun. Other Tribes were also expected to help, but no specific numbers were required.

Sisera, hearing of this surprising and presumptuous challenge from the People of Israel, determines to destroy their army completely. He assembles a force of nine hundred iron chariots (each the probable equivalent of a modern battle tank) plus, according to Targum Yonatan 5:8, 40,000 Officers, 50,000 swordsmen, 60,000 spear throwers, 70,000 shield carriers, and 80,000 regular soldiers - the total of which by the ordinary rules of war would be expected to totally annihilate the miniscule army of Israel, G-d forbid.

But the battle is a victory for Israel, though Sisera has received aid from all the Kings of Canaan, who likewise wish to destroy Israel. Israel receives miraculous aid from the forces of Nature, caused of course by their Director. The stars approach the battlefield, scalding the army of Sisera, and causing them to seek refuge in the waters of the River of Kishon. But those waters, usually shallow, miraculously rise and drown all the forces of Sisera - that is, all but him.

Sisera, shocked and stunned by the outcome of the battle, staggers in the direction of the Tent of Chever the Kenite, who has a peace treaty with Yavin, the overall King of Canaan. Chever's wife, Yael, emerges from the tent and gestures to him to come into her tent for protection. She plies him with warm milk, and he falls asleep. She seizes a tent peg and a hammer, and drives the peg between his eyebrows, through his head and into the ground, definitely and thoroughly killing him.

When Barak, in hot pursuit of Sisera, arrives, Yael says, "the one you are looking for is in my tent, and he is quite dead."

The People of Israel follow up their victory by applying intensifying pressure on Yavin until they completely break his hold on them and in fact reverse their roles. Peace is obtained for a long period of time, forty years, in the context of those tumultuous times.

Miriam's Tambourine

"Miriam's Tambourine" - Michoel Muchnik

Miriam, the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women came out after her with tambourines and with dances [Beshalach 15:20]

The righteous women did not delegate their responsibilities to their leader, Miriam the prophetess. Rather, each and every woman made for herself a tambourine, in a personal effort to trust in G-d's redemption and rejoice in it when it comes.

There is always a temptation to leave the responsibility of inspiring the people to Jewish leaders. However, we can learn from the righteous women in Egypt that it is every single person's obligation to inspire his or herself and all of the people that he or she comes into contact with.

Parshat haMann: The Chapter of the Manna

Art: Heidi Malott

Rebbe Menachem Mendel of Riminov [1745-1815], a disciple of the Holy Rebbe Elimelech of Lizhensk, instructed everyone to read "Parshat HaMann" specifically on the Yom Shlishi [Tuesday] of Parshat Beshalach in the "Shnayim Mikra v'Echad Targum" format, i.e. reading the Hebrew verses twice and the Aramaic translation of Onkelos once.   This year it will occur today Tuesday 27 January.

Not to be confused with the evil villain of the Purim story, Parshat haMann [The Chapter of the Manna] is found in the 16th Chapter of the Book of Exodus: verses 4-36. This Chapter details the episode of the miraculous "Manna" [bread from heaven] that sustained the Children of Israel during their 40-year journey in the desert.

Rav Yosef Caaro, the "mechaber" [compiler] of the monumental Halachic text, the Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim 1:5, instructs us to recite it daily. Other giants of Halacha also point to the importance of reciting it daily: The Tur 1; Aruch Hashulchan 1:22; Shulchan Aruch HaRav 1:9.

By so doing, every Jew acknowledges that his/her livelihood comes from only from Hashem. Reciting the Parshat HaMann daily strengthens one's Emuna and Bitachon [belief and trust] in HASHEM, and is a "Segula for Parnassa" [auspicious for having a healthy income].

No Coincidence

What the mainstream media won't say.

The Board of "Peace"

These were my thoughts during Shabbos.  They may be right, or they may be wrong.

According to Google AI, the cost of re-building Gaza is $70 billion.  To raise this money, Trump has set up his "Board of Peace" and countries are asked to contribute $1 billion to become a full member.

So, are we looking at 70 countries contributing $1 billion each?

And what could possibly go wrong with this "Board of Peace".... well, that doesn't take too much imagination.

These 70 countries would make up the Magog part of Gog u Magog...... we already know who the Gog part is.

This image shows the first countries to join, since then Russia has signed on, and he also invited the Pope....but because the mainstream media is so pathetic, it's impossible to find out a complete list of countries to date.  But I did read somewhere that Trump had 60 potentials on his list, and no doubt as the Master of the Deal he'll fully fund his desired re-building of Gaza, by hook or by crook.

What's Going On ?

It seems like Trump is rapidly morphing into Gog.

Bibi's response to Trump's inclusion of Turkey and Qatar in the Gaza Peace Force:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu laid out Israel’s position in unmistakable terms:

• Turkish or Qatari soldiers will not set foot in Gaza

• In phase two, Hamas will be disarmed, and Gaza demilitarized, either the easy way or the hard way

• If Iran attacks Israel, Israel will respond with a force it has never known

• Iran will not return to the Islamic regime

All those people who have been trashing Bibi for a long time..... what are you thinking now? Just curious if you think he's not strong enough and in the end he'll do whatever Trump wants him to....?

Now, as for everything else going on... world leaders provoking each other which is an obvious sign that we are in the year of Geula..... the only news I watch now is Tousi, where he tells me what's happening and I can believe what he's saying.

When You Carry Valuable Merchandise

Art Inge Schuster

The yetzer hara [evil inclination] corresponds in size to the G-dly soul.  The bigger the G-dly soul, the bigger the yetzer hara.

The Ohr HaMeir says that in life there are certain people who have it easy. Everything goes smooth for them and no obstacles stand in their way.      They think that they have reached perfection, they are on top of the world.

On the other hand some people cannot catch a break. Every time they make a move something goes wrong. Are they traveling on the wrong road?

The Ohr HaMeir explains with a Mashal. If someone is traveling on the road carrying a sack of wheat husks, his trip is easy. He can travel wherever he wants, for as long as he wants, feeling secure and knowing no one will rob him of his goods.

However, if he is carrying a satchel of precious stones he sweats every step, knowing that he is a hunted man.

Dovid HaMelech says in L'Dovid Hashem Ori [Tehilim 27:3] "Im Takum Alai Milchama B'Zos Ani Botei'ach" - if the enemy is constantly attacking me, in this I find confidence. Why?

If my path in life was devoid of any value I would not encounter constant resistance from the Yetzer Hara. The fact that there is an obstacle in my path at every turn is a sign that I, my actions, goals, and ambitions are very valuable. So valuable that the Yetzer Hara is throwing all his resources at me to stop from accomplishing my dreams.

Arrogance is the Root of All Vices

by Rabbi David Hanania Pinto

“But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and I will increase My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt” [Vaeira 7:3]

Rashi explains: “But I will harden”: Since he [Pharaoh] behaved wickedly and defied Me, and I know full well that there is no delight among the nations to make a wholehearted attempt to repent, it is better for Me that his heart be hardened, so that [I can] increase My signs and My wonders in him…

Nevertheless, in the first five plagues, it does not say, “And the Lord strengthened Pharaoh’s heart,” but “Pharaoh’s heart remained steadfast.”

These are the words of Rashi. Since Hashem saw that Pharoah had intentionally hardened his heart, He reinforced his hardness of heart, but at first, despite all the plagues that befell him, Pharoah persisted stubbornly in his rebellion and was not inclined to do teshuvah, even after seeing the truth before his eyes that whatever Moshe said came true with every plague.

We need to clarify, from where did he get the strength to persist with his wickedness and hard hardness and refuse to let the Jews go? After all, the Egyptians were struck with painful plagues, so why did he not change his mind?

This is because the vice of arrogance was his ruination. Arrogance is the root of all vices.

When a person is proud and arrogant, he is not ready to listen even to true messages that others tell him, even if he sees the truth before his eyes. His arrogance blinds him to the obvious truth; consequently, he becomes trapped by his pride.

On the contrary, when a person behaves humbly and unassumingly, he is a receptacle for all positive virtues. He has a sympathetic ear to hear others and is capable of accepting his fellow’s point of view. If the latter is right, he admits the truth and accepts those who say it, whether they are younger or older than him. However, Pharaoh, the wicked, did not behave in this way. He stubbornly hardened his heart despite the painful plagues.

Trump and the Perquisite for the Messianic Era

Rabbi Mendel Kessin, new shiur

The title looks strange, but perquisite is an actual word.  I thought it was "pre-requisite" but apparently they both mean the same thing.

Rainbow over the Fields of Be'eri

January 13: this double rainbow appeared over Kibbutz Be’eri, a place forever marked by loss, courage, and resilience.  It's one of those weird dark rainbows we keep seeing lately.

PM Announces National Day of Mourning

The Shloshim for the victims of the Bondi massacre will take place on January 22, which corresponds with 4 Shevat on the Hebrew calendar.  [4 Shevat is the yarzheit of the Baba Sali]  These 30 days have been counted from the end of Chanukah.

The PM of Australia, looking very uncomfortable and having difficulty forcing the words out, made this announcement a few hours ago.  I am finding all of this remarkable on so many levels.  Albanese quoting Rabbi Ulman and speaking about Shloshim.  Who would have thought....

The 10 Plagues and the Fall of Iran

This short video has been over-dubbed with English.  Rabbi Yosef Berger is speaking about the "Great War in Heaven" which is currently underway, because before G-d brings a nation down [Iran] He first must bring down that nation's Minister in Heaven.  The war to crush the Minister of Persia/Iran is happening now.

Rabbi Elimelech of Lizensk writes on Parshat Bo that you must tell to your son, and your son's son, what Hashem did for the Jewish people, against their enemies, and when the Jewish people again read the Parshiot of the 10 plagues, it has potential to happen again.

We must read the parshiot of the 10 plagues: Parshat Va'eira - which is of course this week's Parsha.... in the very week that Iran is being brought down iy"H - and Parshat Bo, to awaken those plagues to fall on the enemies of Israel.

Iran is Vacillating. Will Israel and the U.S. Strike Back?

I am just typing up some of the transcript.  I recommend you watch the video and read the captions anyway because I haven't included everything he says.  I've typed the beginning, and I hope it makes you want to listen.  Any mistakes are mine, not his.

It is clear the situation is advancing. It is clear it is the Hand of G-d.... the water shortage in Iran is Hashem's doing. The Iranian government is hanging by a thread.

I will cite five sources from the Torah/Chazal which speak about Iran at the end of time, then we'll speak about what is going to happen b'ezrat Hashem.

Daniel Chapter 2 where king Nebuchadnezzar has an important dream, but cannot remember it, so he gathers all his advisors, magicians etc and tells them he had a dream but can't remember it, and he asks them to tell him the dream and what it means. The fortune-tellers said ok, tell us the dream and we will tell you what it means.  He says no, you are fortune-tellers, you must tell me what I dreamt.  They responded that it was impossible and no king had ever asked them that before.

Nebuchadnezzar was a terrible king - it is written that while he was king, no-one on earth smiled. He told them, I will give you another minute, and if you don't tell me I will send you all to the furnace. If you are useless, you will go to the furnace.

One minute passes and the king flew into a rage and issued an edict that all the wise men of Babylon should be thrown into a furnace.

Among these wise men of Babylon were four good Jews: Daniel and his three friends Michel, Hanania and Azaria.  The executioner went to their house, as they were absent during this meeting,   Daniel asked him what was going on, and when the executioner told him, Daniel asked him to take him to the king immediately.

Daniel goes to the king and says "Your Majesty, give me 24 hours and I will return to you with the dream and the interpretation." The king says ok but if, within 24 hours, you do not return and interpret the dream, you will be executed."

"Imminent Redemption - A Matter of Days or Weeks"

Rav Elbaz on the Imminent Geulah: “A Matter of Days or Weeks”

H/t Shana

Remarks were delivered overnight by Rav Reuven Elbaz, Rosh Yeshiva of Ohr HaChaim and a member of the Moetzet Chachmei Hatorah of Shas, as he addressed the condition of Klal Yisroel and the dramatic period through which we are currently passing.

In his words, Rav Elbaz expressed absolute confidence in the nearness of the geulah, speaking with sharp and unequivocal language. “My heart is certain,” the Rav said. “We are not talking about distant times. Not months. We are in moments, in hours, in days — and perhaps in the coming weeks — before the revelation of the true light.”

According to Rav Elbaz, the present reality is not another routine chapter in Jewish history, but a decisive historical turning point. “Our situation today touches the very apple of the Creator’s eye,” he said. “This cannot continue like this. It simply cannot be.”

Rav Elbaz stressed that this is not merely a general belief that “in the end it will be good,” but a complete transformation of reality itself. “Everything will be turned over,” he declared. “I tell you — everything will be turned for the good. Not only ‘this too is for the good,’ and not only ‘all that the Merciful One does is for the good.’ It’s not just that it will be good — it is the good itself.” He reiterated that these words are not abstract consolation, but a tangible reality about to be revealed. “This is exactly what must be. There will be only good. And with Hashem’s help, we will yet see this good revealed, when everything — literally everything — is transformed into white, pure, and refined.”

Teves, Eisav and the Goat

The month of Esav…every month has a certain mazel— the fortune and the mazel of Esav in his evil guise, is the month of Teves, the month of the goat. The sign of Esav is the “seir,” a goat.  [Capricorn]

Rabbi Mendel Kessin has spoken about this many times, and mentioned it regarding Venezuela.

Trump is using the mazel of Teves, whether he knows it or not.

There is even a golden-hoofed goat at Trump's Mar-a-Lago, it's covered in dollar bills printed with the words "in Trump we trust".
