We are at the End. The 288th spark was apparently in Rafach (gematriah 288) all along which in reality is in Eretz Yisrael. The 30,000 Bnei Ephraim brought it here when they were slaughtered by the Philistines, 30 years before the actual Exodus from Egypt. So while this 288th spark was already in Israel, WE abandoned the spark there when we unilaterally left Gaza. So it was not a matter of going to Rafach to retrieve the spark. It was a matter of returning to Rafach to be there with the spark. It was not a matter of retrieval this time. It was the teshuvah of actually returning to what had been abandoned 19 years ago.
Just heard the whole a minute ago. This Rabbi makes so much sense. As Noahide, I am still learning.
WIsh you and all readers, a good week, and wish also to you all, all good wherever you are. Wish also, all good peoples who are trying to do good, Amen. May Mashiach come soon, the World needs Him so much. Hashem have mercy on all, Amen. Thanks Devorah once again... Hashem bless you and yours, and all Jews wherever they be.
and also, all good peoples in this forlorn world, which will soon change with the coming of The Mashiach.
How on Earth would you know the 288th spark was in Rafach? Please explain how there is any evidence for this whatsoever and it’s not just a convenient thing to say when you believe the end is near and you’ve heard of the idea of sparks. I am going to assume this is nuts until someone can explain it to me
Anonymous @ 1.18 - you can go to the original post at the blog and ask him, or you can have a look at this post where it is explained that it comes from the Zohar. Rafach is gematria 288.
Thank you for commenting, because there will be others who also don't understand about the 288 sparks, and I should have linked to that post to make things clear. https://shiratdevorah.blogspot.com/2024/05/all-trouble.html
You need to go the link I gave https://shiratdevorah.blogspot.com/2024/05/all-trouble.html "All the trouble that comes from the world is from Gaza". [Zohar] "Redemption depends on the clarification of the sparks in Rafah."
Whoever it is who keeps asking questions, please direct them to Dov's blog, he can answer your questions there. I just quoted him because I agree with him. That is why I'm not publishing your comments here, you need to leave those questions on his blog. http://yearsofawe.blogspot.com
Rabbi Kessin had a shiur and said that Sampson went into Gaza but could not extract the sparks and how fitting that it is reserved for Moshiach, the acronym for Adam, David. Everything has to come full circle, the redemption of Adam.
Congratulations, Rabbi Efraim. I noticed the amount of praise comments for the video on YouTube. The first step towards genuine repentance is humility, recognizing that there is a hair's breadth of possibility that we are not right in our practices and attitudes, and that there is still something to learn along the way. This requires a tremendous break with self-pride, and even a rethinking of solid customs. Ultimately, the LUCIDITY presented in this video by Rabbi Efraim points to the beginning of a communal repentance and perhaps an improvement, an advancement in spirituality. A first step has been taken towards real redemption, we are very happy. The video is being highly praised. Go ahead, Israel! Mirla
I agree with Yitzchok that it’s all hype. Just look at what happened with Hezbollah. Everyone thought world war 3, two days ago. Now, we see the situation has calmed greatly.
Excerpt from Sefaria (from Zohar) and relates to Rafach: (i.e. the 'sons of Elohim') are Aza and Azael, from whom descended the souls of (the second group in) the mixed multitude, which are the Nefilim. They made themselves fall, and they fornicated with women who were fair. Because of this, the Holy One, blessed be He, also eliminated them from the World to Come, so that they may not have a portion there. And He gave them their reward in this world, as it is written: "...and repays them that hate Him to their face, to destroy them" (Devarim 7:10).
Wow thank you - Aza [Gaza] and the nefilim. At the same time as Rafach is happening, we are seeing the downfall of the degenerate rap industry and all those connected to it, which includes the Obamas. Seems everything is being revealed now.
YW. There's even more, because the Ukranians are "Ekron" (from the ancient Philistines), and look what's happening there, simultaneous to Gaza.
See the below wordpress, and there's even a quaint comment at the end, tying in Ekron, Corona and Omicron: https://gogumagogexplained.wordpress.com/2022/02/28/russia-is-gog-and-ukraine-is-2/
Thank you so much Devora for all the videos you post and info that you share. I keep having dreams that I’m hearing Mashiach’s shofar blowing. And I’m waiting to see what happens this Shabbat with Yaakov’s Kochav. I really hope this all plays out soon bzh. Praying for our redemption immediately and b’ rachamim bzh!
The principles of praying at the Kever of tzadikin has been practiced since the times of spies… Caleb visited maarat hamachpela. When he went into israel to pray for success… to completely dismiss this and say its against the Torah is dismissing an. Important aspect of Judaism.
Yes of course we pray at Kever of Tzadikim, did I miss something? I realize I've only heard half the lecture, I'll have to go back and listen to the rest.
OK I've listened to the relevant part, and this is where people get it wrong. Of course we don't pray TO the tzadik, we pray by the kever in the hope that the tzadik will intercede on our behalf if our prayers aren't worthy enough to get through. WE ARE ALWAYS PRAYING TO G-D.
However, there are some people who do idolize tzadikim in a way that makes me feel a bit nervous.
Hanging pictures on the wall of tzadikim is not idolatry. It says somewhere that it is good to look at the face of a tzadik, and so we look at the face of the tzadik on our walls. It doesn't mean that we are treating him as an idol chas v'shalom.
I don't know anyone who prays to a tzadik, they all pray to G-d, 100% to G-d. Yes, from the outside it may appear to others that by praying at the grave of a tzadik you are praying to that tzadik, but that is not the case, unless the person doing the praying is very confused. I guess it's easy to get the wrong impression, but remember that the xtians took everything from us and twisted it. I will put up an old post about praying the kever of a tzaddik.
I also want to say that the Lubavitcher Rebbe himself used to pray at the kever of the previous Rebbe, and he would tell people in his responses that he would pray for them at the kever of his father-in-law. Of course he was not praying to the previous Rebbe, he was praying to Hashem at the grave of the previous Rebbe.
Now I have to correct myself, because there are some genuine people who will say your name, along with all the other names they have, at the kever of a tzadik, and as long as they are not asking you for a large amount, then I don't see a problem with that. Some of these people are genuine, and they also desperately need the income, and they are genuinely spiritual people and they will get a list of names and mention these names at the Kever. So yes sometimes it is ok to do that, if you know that the person can be trusted and is a spiritual person, and you cannot get to the kever yourself.
I just needed to clarify that, because I don't want to be slandering genuine people....... you need to learn to distinguish between the genuine people and the scammers.
We can pray to Hashem only. As well as asking the Tzadik to intercede on our behalf, we can also pray at the Kever of a Tzadik so that we can ask Hashem to consider the Tzadik's merits.
Ty Devorah.. like I mentioned In a previous post..it’s a very big inconsistency to say what he said in the video about Tzadikim.. It’s not a misunderstanding… its quite clear his purpose and statement on it.. which unfortunately is very far from the truth of Judaism in reference to visiting Tzadikim etc…
I just want to tell you, Devorah, that sometimes a Tzaddik will ask for large amounts of money and a pidyon, which obviously 'always' went straight to a very needy cause that he was privy to...
But today's world is full of scammers, and naive people, especially younger people. Rabbi Palvanov has an audience of younger people, I would think, and he has a lot of views on his lectures. He needs to think very carefully about what he is saying [and probably do a pidyon himself after all this]
devorah yes i was asked for a huuuge sum of money from someone for a pidyon. i did not have that much money anyway. i think this was a scam and you are right. $20.000 dollars for a pidyon yes $20,000. could someone confirm for me this was a scam??

I don't remember Rabbi Kessin speaking about it, but there is a post about it
