Thanks, Devorah, because besides the rabbi clarifying the British citizens' demand for royalty, this lecture also finally answered my question of awhile ago. My Q had been as follows: I'd heard that people are resurrected into whichever of their gilgulim they'd done the least sin. So my Q had been, what of those who are among the living when Moshiach comes? Well, this video resolved it by the rabbi clarifying that when Moshiach comes, the living will die for two hours, and then come back to life. In which case, that would enable their souls to come back to life in the body associated with a past incarnation rather than the body that died two hours prior.
Regarding that other video where you closed comments, I "kvelled" at the common-sense of Mig, Nothing and A-non. Finally finally, some perspectives of Queen E. as jaded as my own! And just because we all agree that her mother-in-law Alice was righteous, that doesn't mean anything. Yaakov Avinu was righteous too, but his brother was a rasha.
On a lighter note, after seeing all those rainbows and meteor, I eagerly await a Crop-Circle which outdoes all the rest, on the theme of the dearly-departed Queen! After all, the UK is the headquarters for Crop-Circles! M.M.
Likewise, in answer to those who say the Queen must have been bad because members of her family were bad.....well, Yaakov Avinu was good even though he had bad relatives.
I know we have to be Don LeChaf Schut (judge favourably) all Jews, are we allowed to also judge non-Jews favourably, I think it could be a good idea, but check with your LOR.
did anyone listen to Rabbi Ariel Tzadok's live Facebook lecture? it was on israel's time 3 a.m. .... this morning. he kind of stated world is heading towards nuclear war, one world government, only the first 3 kings (in book of Daniel fell). one more king to rise and fall. israel is not safe and a lot of people is israel will die as well.
On that first comment by MM - cannot believe that the person who had just passed on two hours before would come back in a different body. The whole idea of techiyat hameisim is that we will reconnect with our loved ones in the same bodies. Maybe the souls of the righteous of each person might come back in the body who just passed on but we will all be the same people and there will only be righteousness in the world. The world will be void of all evil. Torah is common sense and is made for man's thinking and we know H' is All Good. We will be the same people on the physical level but all healthy and perfect, but the same!
Lisa: There won't be a nuclear war in Israel. Israel is still the safest place on earth. It is H's Land. Even in the time of the Great Flood over 4000 years ago, Israel was the only place not affected by the flood. Emunah and Bitachon in Hashem is what we need now more than ever. If we rely totally on Him, HE will be with us. The world has now reached bottom and the belief and reliance on G-D Almighty is purposely being slowly erased by the ruach hatumah which has engulfed the earth. Soon Hashem will undo all evil. Let us do our part by putting our Emunah and Bitachom only in H' and in nothing else.
Lisa I'd be very careful what to believe in these kinds of predictions from various rabbis around the place. I'm talking about Rabbi Tzadok, even though he's been around a long time he is not a Navi. Whilst some of what he says may be true....but... a negative prediction is very easy to make - and these same negative predictions can always conveniently be cancelled by Shamayim, and the person who made that predicton can just say "Hashem cancelled it".
Someone is a real Navi if they give a Positive Prediction and it comes true, such as the Lubavitcher Rebbe who correctly predicted the end of the Gulf War in 1991.
Let's see what our "illustrious" (sic) leader, Lapid has to say at the UN today and then we'll have a better idea of what direction things are headed. He has no mandate to make any pronouncements about dividing Israel and establishing a fakestinian state, but apparently he intends to announce his support for doing just that. So, all eyes on the UN and we'll see what HKBH has in store for us yidden living here in EY.
It is my strong impression that Lapid is not really running the country, but the security forces are. Call it Israel's version of the deep state. Not a bad thing in this case, although erev rav still have Kingship b'eretz, but at least they have common sense and are brave. New IDF chef is even religious, or was that the army dude, or head of national security? I read this last week. Anyway, appreciated reading/watching the blog. Shabbat Shalom you all !

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Gershon
Gershon you're a breath of fresh air.
I always try to judge everyone favourably, and I give people the benefit of the doubt until it's obvious they really don't have good intentions.
