The following is a letter the rav got and reads in his shiur:
I really don't think you understand the absolute wonders that we saw last night here in Israel.
In fact, I'm sure you don't.
Let's break this down.
Israel has three air defense systems, each one a technological marvel and I'm not saying that. That's Dr. Gold who actually invented the Iron Dome and who told me that. The level and sophistication of the Iron Dome is simply unmatched.
But the Iron Dome only knows how to detonate short range missiles or missiles within a range of 70 km, give or take.
Then Israel has the David's Sling system. That knows how to deal with medium range missiles up to about 300 km.
Then we have the Arrow system that literally detonates missiles that can fly outside the Earth's atmosphere. That has a range of about 2,400 km!! 🤯
Last night, when Iran fired ballistic missiles at Israel, all three defense systems were activated and executed perfectly.
The chances of all of these incredibly complex systems working together as flawlessly as they did last night are virtually zero.
If one thing went wrong, if one of those ballistic missiles hit an apartment building, a shopping mall, or an army base, we would be burying hundreds of Israelis right now.
And that's not even the biggest miracle.
A few hours ago, I got a WhatsApp message from a good friend who is a senior executive at Microsoft and who was not exactly a God-fearing Jew. Until yesterday.
This is what he wrote to me.
"If you're looking for miracles, man - last night I started believing in them. Missiles were hitting all around me, but none of them hit my house or any house."
He went on to say that he saw missiles landing just meters away from very strategic locations in Israel, to say the least.
Each of these defense systems is pretty amazing in itself, but what’s even more insane is the low casualty rate of the missiles and rockets that we did NOT intercept.
Where did those missiles go? I’ll tell you where. They landed in sand, in water, and in “empty spaces.”
Have you been to Israel? It’s a microscopic country. What empty spaces? Where are those empty spaces? 🤷♂️
How can hundreds of Iranian ballistic missiles all be detonated by miraculous systems or miss their target completely and land in empty spaces, causing no casualties and minimal damage?!
How??
Listen, I get it. This line of thought begs the question: Where was God during yesterday’s horrific terrorist attack? Where was He on October 7th? Where was He during the Holocaust?
All valid questions that require a very serious and nuanced conversation.
But if you know anything about what had to happen last night and in this entire war in general, for such a low casualty rate, you know that what we saw last night was the equivalent of God parting the sea before our eyes.
Guess what. When God parted the sea, there were those who didn't believe it was a miracle and didn't jump. And there are also those who feel the need to explain it in a natural way. Okay, that's fine.
Don't want to call yesterday an act of God? That's your choice, but like my Microsoft friend, if you look at these events objectively, you would find it very difficult to see those hundreds of deadly missiles landing in empty spaces without seeing the hand of God.
Last night was an incredible demonstration of the cooperation between two powers that protect the Jewish people: the IDF and Hashem. (R Ron Chaya disagrees. Says it's rather Go-d using the idf as his instrument).
Last night will go down in history, along with many of Israel’s accomplishments in this war, including the beepers and the unprecedentedly low ratio of combatants to civilians, as a military operation the likes of which the world has never seen. Never!
Last night will be analyzed by military strategists and experts for generations.
Last night we witnessed history.
Last night we witnessed open miracles.
Last night we witnessed Go-d in all His glory watching over His children.

At the start of the project Gold says, they were in contact with American scientists who told him that no way it can work cuz there are 100 problems in his plan. If one problem is not solved, everything falls in the water.
Dr Gold says : and in the end we managed to solve all the problems . Dr Gold said it all came from Go-d and what we managed to accomplish is absolutely abnormal.R Ron Chaya: Hashem hates it when a person says that it comes from man and ignores Hashem. After the first attack of Iran just before pesach a scientist wrote to the rav and also told him after having calculated, that it's impossible ie miraculous, that the defense system had 100% success cuz there should been at least 5% failure. Said it's absolutely abnormal. Shouted it's a miracle! Now again, miracle! The miracles that we're experiencing here in Israel since a few weeks are phenomenal! Besides, Iran daily pushes approx 2 million Arabs that live here in Israel to revolt themselves . Suppose only 1% would act, ie 20000 of them, watch out they have machine guns and more but let's suppose they would only come with kitchen knives.. what would we have done ?!? But it's a fantastic miracle... We're living a daily miracle..
The 7th of October was something like the Nazis did but it was supposed to be much bigger, a concerted attack by Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Israeli Arabs etc but it didn't happen. - an extraordinary miracle.

Please forgive me if I'm not remembering the details correctly, but ... in Efi Palvanov's class last night, he spoke about the killing of Nasrallah in Beirut, and how the Zohar prophesies that a king will be killed on the 25th of Elul in a city of Rome. How is Nasrallah related to Rome? The issue is resolved because in the days of the Zohar, Beirut was actually an important Roman city. So, from the Zohar's pov, the prophesy is accurate. I respectfully disagree with Rav Chaya. Of course Hashem is the Ultimate director of events and miracles! And of course Hashem uses humans as His instruments to effect His desired outcomes. But humans are also obligated to participate. I believe it's called "hishtadlut". Human beings are supposed to put forth effort toward whatever outcome is desired, and Hashem does the rest. So, although the IDF are not the ultimate deciders of fate, they do play an active roll and should be recognized as important partners in the miracles we've witnessed. Just my humble opinion.
See Rav Eliyahu Dessler on hishtadlut. Yes, a person needs to do so, but, if he has truly passed the most difficult test of all to humans, he has to realize (sincerely, not lip service) , that his hishtadlut had zero effect on the desired outcome! A tough one to be sure..

We're experiencing miracles thanks to what ? October 7 because of its horribleness has awakened the Jewish people. What ever happened to Bibi’s promise to retaliate harshly against Iran? It certainly looked like the final stretch of golus, since the Torah says Moshiach will come when Iran is at war with Eretz Yisrael. Now, that Bibi backed out, it seems we are set back once again and will have to wait a long time until Moshiach.

That is "Rochel's" depressing view of things, and Rochel is probably not their real name. Most people do not share that view, and we expect Moshiach very soon.
On Monday in Sydney, 12,000 Jews gathered for the memorial service for Oct 7.... 12,000 Jews is a huge amount for Sydney to amass in one place, and some people were saying to each other that you could feel the energy of Moshiach. Bibi has not backed out of attacking Iran.
The retaliation does not have to be within one week.
It could even be until after the American election.
It might not be one major attack.
It could be a series of attacks involving cyber warfare and sabotage.
There are many political, military and intelligence considerations to be made before the attack on Iran.
