Just by the way.... he is the 47th Premier of N.S.W.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with all these 47s ??
Maybe there is a connection to the small gematria of the number 47. If you add 4 plus 7 you get 11. The 11 Spherot with which the world was created. Rabbi Mendel Kessin once said in one of his classes that the 10 plagues in Egypt, as well as the great flood, were the spheres themselves translated into physical phenomenon to punish the wicked.

I like that. Maybe the Eleventh Hour.
DeleteThe eleventh hour is a colloquial expression meaning "a time which is nearly too late". So says Wikipedia.... but there are some other origins of this expression, notably: This expression comes from the Bible. The 11th hour is the last hour before the end of the world.
Now that's a really interesting point. A lot of disasters, both natural and otherwise, began in 2011. The Syrian Civil War with at least half a million dead began in 2011. The nuclear disaster in Japan, Kim Jung Un came to power all in 2011. Even the world trade center on Sept 11. The towers themselves look like the number 11. And if I'm not mistaken, one of the doomed flights was flight #11. A divine warning?

Wowwwww

ReplyDeleteThis is incredible that a none Jew is asking people in his country to do a Mitzvah. Moshiach Now!
It really is.
DeleteThe NSW Government has announced a National Day of Mourning for the 15 victims killed in the Bondi Beach Chanukah Terrorist Attack.
ReplyDeleteThe theme of the day, chosen by the Chabad Community in Bondi, whose Chanukah event was targeted in the attack, is "Light will win, a gathering of unity and remembrance".
All Australians are encouraged to observe a minute's silence at 7.01pm AEDT, and to leave a lit candle in their window or on their doorstep in solidarity with the Jewish community.
'Reclaiming the Sydney Opera House'
The Jewish community will also gather at the Sydney Opera House, which will be lit up in white in a gesture of solidarity and mourning.
"I'm very thankful the NSW government for giving us this opportunity to reclaim it, not just for us as a Jewish community, but obviously for the whole Australia and globally," Rabbi Mendy Ulman said.

Jewish Australians will reclaim the Sydney Opera House for the country's National Day of Mourning.
ReplyDeleteOpera House to host Bondi Attack vigil and tribute.
Based on recent events, the phrase "taking back the Opera House" refers to efforts by the Jewish community and supporters to reclaim the symbolic space of the Sydney Opera House for "decency" and to honor victims of terrorism.
Bondi Attack Commemoration: Following the Bondi Beach terror attack, Jewish Australians planned to gather at the Opera House, which was to be lit in white light as part of a national day of mourning to honor the victims, with Rabbi Mendy Ulman describing the event as reclaiming the space.
"I'm very thankful the NSW government for giving us this opportunity to reclaim it, NOT JUST FOR US as a Jewish community, but OBVIOUSLY for THE WHOLE AUSTRALIA AND GLOBALLY," Rabbi Mendy Ulman said.
Response to Previous Protests: This movement arose in response to protests held on October 9, 2023, where, days after the Hamas attack on Israel, the Opera House steps were the site of anti-Semitic chants, which many described as a violation of the space.
Future Protests Prevented: Efforts have been made to ensure that subsequent, divisive protests are not held at the venue, with the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies stating they would work to prevent the Opera House from being "defiled" again.
Court Rulings: In October 2025, an Australian court blocked a pro-Palestine protest at the Sydney Opera House due to safety concerns and to ensure the site remained a place of "decency".

ReplyDeleteAnon your comment made no sense so I didn't publish it, but if you want to elaborate on why this is all fake and sheker, please go ahead, because I have no idea what you're talking about.
ReplyDeleteI watched the Unity Memorial and Shloshim last night live inside the Sydney Opera House.
ReplyDeleteThere were many extremely moving moments and the spirit of healing was present.
However, the notion of reclaiming of the Opera House left me somewhat perplexed. During the anti-Israel protest on 9th October 2023 on the steps of the Opera House, these jihadist demonstrators were hunting for Jewish blood.
Australia and New South Wales had legislated anti-hate laws already in place, the video evidence was recorded and yet no prosecutions were made.
How can the gesture of reclamation be made when justice has not been served and last night's event had Swat teams of snipers of the roof of the Opera House?
There was much hope and aspiration in last night's speeches for the future, but Australia changed not on the 14th December 2025 but on the 9th October 2023. Since that day 2 years ago, despite the warnings of the Jewish community, the Government allowed this to climax with the death of 15 innocent souls. Albanese's so called "profound sorry " apology was insincere and scripted for maximum damage control. Rhetoric is cheap.....Action has been deliberately missing.
For the sake of the revised "anti-hate laws," beware !!! These are in place to stop free speech. Pauline Hanson and One Nation has risen dramatically in the polls. These revised anti-hate laws have specifically been introduced to gag any opposition to the Government's divisive immigration intake and laws and calling out Islamic fundamentalism. This is a deliberate political attempt to silence the voice of truth. We will all be under scrutiny with these laws. Mark my words.
Australia has rallied around the Jewish community in a resounding manner, but I pray that the death of these 15 innocent souls was not in vain. Their lives mattered and yet they were let down by the very Government that took an eternity to claim responsibility and finally apologized last night with words that seemed hollow and insincere.
May HaShem grant eternal repose to the innocent victims of this heinous Islamic terrorist attack and comfort the grieving families and friends. May he avenge their innocent blood, expose the true intent of our Government officials and thwart their divisive plans. Am Yisrael Chai !!!
Shabbat Shalom
Joe.

Joe
Joe I watched it, a lot of people I know went to it, the unanimous verdict was that it was brilliant and everyone is so proud of everyone else.
ReplyDeleteI thought Albanese was sincere, and if he wasn't he did a good job of fooling people that he was. But when he taught chassidus and explained the real meaning of mitzvah is to "connect" - I think he gets it. And I am not a fan of his at all, but last night, no complaints from me.
Joe that You Tube is amazing, I've never seen it before. Everyone check out what the number 11 represents.
