ReplyDeleteI've about reached the end of it with Trump. Whatever will be will be. He made a promise to the Persians in Iran and thus far, nothing has been done to help them. When he signs "the deal" the people will still be executed, arrested, tortured, and worse. This will be his legacy for all time, here and in the world to come.

DeleteP.S. You know how there's so many in our midst who are unmitigated Trump fans, no matter what irrational and uncaring moves he makes? Well I'd not be surprised if they'd be the types of parents who'd turn into prickly porcupines if anyone dared tell them that their kid is the school bully. That's the extent to which they've allowed their "emotions" to put Trump-On-A-Pedestal.
DeleteNo I don't have Trump Derangement Syndrome at all. Nor am I saying he's as sinister a bully as the commies (which is why I'd still vote for Trump). Rather I'm saying that I have eyes, which years ago read news articles about how the Kurds were thrown to the ISIS wolves... I.E. U.S. troops abandoning them to their own devices. This, despite having tremendously helped the U.S. forces led by Trump.
And now for the 2nd time, I have eyes to see how the Iranian people were encouraged by the U.S. to fight, after which we procrastinated and procrastinated. So why can't my fellowmen also acknowledge this? Why the blinders? As I stated, they're like defensive parents, whose hackles rise if anyone dares point out to them how irrational their precious baby is acting.
I totally agree with you about Trump. I still am convinced that Trump will become Gog or some future president as Rabbi Isser Weisberg teaches. I hope to be wrong but still my sentiments. May we see the Final Redemption soon this year 5786 as many think is possible.

Personally, the minute Trump began talking about giving a state to the fakistinians in his "peace to prosperity plan" at the end of his first term...I knew we had been played. He "gave us" Jerusalem as a capitol and the golan heights as bait to hook us into going along willingly with his deal of the century. Its all business to Trump and what he can get out of it. Anyone deluding themselves into believe he is in anyway altruistic needs a reality check.
The fact that he now believes we are in some way beholden to him makes him lethal to the future and security of Israel. And the fact that he surrounds himself with kappo Jews that are perfectly willing to do business with the enemy isn't any evidence to the contrary.
Better an enemy that says so to your face then one who is duplicitous and pretends to be a friend.

While I see it as amazing that Trump wants American Jews to celebrate Shabbat and he said it in a way that makes the xtians feel included (to play into his xtians-that-think-they-are -new-Jews followers).
DeleteI feel like this resembles Paroah with his wavering back and forth. He doesn't completely stop Iran and say that the men can go worship their G-d. Part of me hopes that he is not Gog but Paroah was also a great negotiator. Rifki
