  8. I also saw the news here.
I enjoyed his shiurim when they were posted on this blog, despite the language gap.

  9. Sooner or later we all have to go and face the Maker of all and everything.
We come, and we go... at the time allotted to each of us.

He is better off than a lot of us here...

  11. Baruch Dayan HaEmet.

He has suffered serious illness recently but indications were he made a full and miraculous recovery, but this appears to have been a new illness.

He was at the very cutting edge of Geulah studies over these past years of war with Iran.

  12. I listened to his last video (in french), where he said Mashiach by Yom Kippur this year. May his last prediction be true.

  13. For French/french speaking jews,it was a terrible, heartbreaking shock.Everyone said the same thing, the one who wanted Mashiah the most went to Shamayim to bring Geoulah. The day before,Rav Shalom Aroush said that because of sinat chinam, there were גזרות,and now we understand that Rav Chaya passed away for Am Israel.May we be zoche of Mashiah this year and תחיית המתים,אמן.

  14. I am one of his former students and was close to him. I feel like I lost a father. I strongly encourage people to listen to the hespedim on the link provided above (specially his chatan and the director of the yeshiva). This man had EXCEPTIONAL middot. Really unbelievable. Just to give an example: his rabbi (with whom he prayed morning prayers usually) said during the levaya that he was just informed that he was a rosh yeshiva the day before the levaya. Can you imagine that? Can you believe that? He never presented himself as a Rosh Yeshiva to his own Rav. Please listen. It's just hearbreaking to think that a tsadik like him was among us and we did not know a fraction of his dids.

The Yanuka visited the family sitting shiva 2 days ago. On Sunday, Rav Elbaz and Rav david Yossef are scheduled to attend the end of the shiva.

Apparently, Rabbi David Chanania Pinto alluded that he might have left us because he was about to make revelations on the Geula and Mashiah that could not be revealed yet. And indeed, according to the family whom we visited yesterday, he had just prepared a shiur that he described as his best shiur ever on Mashiah.

    Barukh Dayan Aemet.
