It's a relief that all the waiting is over now. Now we can get back to the normality of trusting Hashem above all else. And in that vein, this new video from Rabbi Zitron seems appropriate: "What Happens if you trust in people vs Hashem". I guess this is what it's all about. We cannot put our faith in one person. Not that we abandoned Hashem, chas v'shalom, we just thought Hashem was using Trump to get to a certain place. Seems we got it wrong. What happens next.... I do not know. Speak your mind in the comments if you need to vent some steam.

It is all up to Hashem! Perhaps half of America who voted for Biden is about to get a strong taste of what they voted for. Trump's goodbye words of "see you soon" may still become reality. Me thinks that this is not over. Ms.AP
68 million voted for Bide. 89 million voted for President Trump.
Ain Od Milvado.
Justice, however is a character trait that must be upheld. Evil cannot prosper.
Agree with Ms. AP. But, it wasn't half, more like 75/25.
We know everything is from Hashem. Believe this also all leading to the Geulah Shleimah, so there's much yet to happen on the worldly level.
Rabbi Glazerson has a new video/Torah code: the reason why Trump's presidency was ended is because the Jews did not do teshuvah and so we have a new evil leader, just like the story of Haman: watch it here https://youtu.be/MkDUUYTDi3w
Shame on those who continue to buy into ridiculous conspiracy theories. Trump is a huckster and fraud who moved the embassy to Jerusalem because Adelson had to pay millions to get him to do it. He pardoned people who paid for it or had the goods on him like the snake Bannon.Trump believes in nothing but money. Biden has been outspoken against BDS,ensured that Israel received research money for Iron Dome and a major defense package in 2016. Why don't you do research instead of relying on falsehoods. Whatever use Hashem had with Trump has long since passed. Move on and be hopeful. At least with Biden in office there is a chance for effectively dealing with Covid and not pretending it is a hoax. I've known people who got very sick from it and it is very real. Diaspora Ro
How do you feel about Obama, Diaspora Ro? Are you a fan of his as well? No-one said Trump was an angel, but he did a lot of good things for the Jews, apart from the Embassy.
But I do agree with you re Covid.
For me this was a good lesson on 'the world is a stage and we are merely prayers' weather its the alternate media or fake news channels, all made us go through much anxiety and stress, which means its not coming from a good place.
I have learnt my lesson and now am cutting down on most of them and focusing on my tikun and peaceful comforting dependence in Hashem.
Good advice TI
I don't like Obama because of his book related to Israel and the Palestinians and not prosecuting Wall Street business interests for the great recession. But I thought he was right about Climate change and bringing manufacturing back to the USA. I also thought sanctioning Iran severely was the right thing to do.
Diaspora Rose; No wonder you call yourself Diaspora, that's you with a real galut mentality! You think you know all these secret dealings of the former pres. but you're just another lefty! Wish you could learn some real Torah and realize everything the Torah teaches us is the OPPOSITE of leftism!
Rabbi Zitron has another great shiur The Final Test Before Mashiach by Rabbi Yehoshua Zitron https://youtu.be/t3-z5xxSLVA
from April where he says at the end there will be something to test our emunah that we wouldn't expect...possibly like a president that did so much good for Israel and is a friend of the Jews have an election stolen from him or be embarrassed globally with more impeachment issues?
Check out my rebb, Rabbi Baruch Bodenheim's shiur on this week's parsha and relating it to current events https://www.torahanytime.com/#/lectures?v=138294
Pres Trump brought manufacturing back to the US. Not obama.
I think it is something much bigger than that. It is written that in the final days we will see that the korban of Ishmael is accepted and ours sits with no fire. I don't think this has happened yet. My personal take on the Trump event is that too many yidden were worshipping him. In fact too many Israelis worship artzot habrit. IMO HKBH is smashing the idols.
Gavriela, I think most of you are wrong. He just wants to put the country back to real freedom the way the founding fathers had intended and up until about 100 years ago it was that way. This whole covid thing is about breaking the economy which there are the good guys and then there are the other guys. The last hundred years were being led by globalists and he wants to restore it to the 'gold' standard as it was originally. That is really the Torah way. Currency has to be backed by tangible metal (such as gold/silver). The trouble is ignorance. That's why in the last few decades (since Oslo), the SOI was turned into a mini USA and is losing its Jewishness in practically every way, r'l! Don't forget, the erev rav unites with Esav & Yishmael to thwart the coming of Moshiach, but nothing will stop the coming of Moshiach (tz'dkeinu) in 'its time', which is very close at hand.
Amen!(Moshe)
No, Trump did not. Before President Obama left office he created the Manufacturing USA program designed to develop and enhance America's manufacturing capabilites and create new jobs through the establishment of key institutes. Hundreds of millions were invested into these institutes. I ought to know, I worked for one of them. Stop believing in Trump fairytales and do some research. DIASPORA RO
Moshe, What is this nonsense about "lefties"? Thanks to the Democratic party, Americans have social programs like social security, unemployment, medicare, medicaid, affordable housing, free school lunches, food stamps, etc. That Republicans would be happy to destroy and do away with. Don't ever forget that over 250,000 Jews in the USA live below the poverty level and need these services. As a taxpayer, I am happy to see them receive what they need. Maybe you would be happy to see these people suffer I would not and I sincerely doubt the Torah teaches us to go against Tzedakah.
Hey Unknown....tzedakah is something you give willingly..its not something the Govt. takes from you by force and appropriates without your consent. Do you realize how much of the citizen taxpayer dollars are sent overseas to hostile regimes that hate Israel and Jews.Or how about tax payer dollars that are spent to fund planned parenthood an organizations that murders the unborn babies. The list of reprehensible spending and waste of taxpayers dollars by Dems goes on and on. Just read the Dems latest omnibus bill...they wanted to give struggling desperate US citizens 500 bucks...but allocated millions for pakistani gender studies...ect ect All these little programs are funded by Democrat policies and bills. There is nothing good or righteous about most Democrat politicians..most are openly anti Israel which is just another manifestation of Anti Semitism. But most disturbing of all we just watched democrat officials and politicians openly subvert Justice and steal an election with fraud on a massive scale. The generation of Noach was wicked in many ways ...but chazal tell us that the straw that broke the camels back was the theft they committed... an example is given of a man that built a fence...the people would come en-masse and each take a splinter of wood until there was no fence left. They stole like this so that the man who built the fence would have no recourse and no one person to sue.
The theft of the election from a duly elected president was committed on this scale...it was death by a thousand cuts and every single dishonest corrupt politician stood by silently and let it happen.
You are about to watch the destruction of the US, the economy and its people...Biden has already begun the process.
The hypocrisy, arrogance, and foolishness of democrat voters never ceases to amaze me.
Again, there is no concrete evidence of any major election fraud. Just because you think so doesn't make it so. If there really was massive fraud it would have been uncovered by now. Secondly, I don't agree with all government spending in foreign countries but I do agree to spending money on those in the USA who are most at risk. tax dollars are part of a social contract that we have with our government to provide necessary services. Should my government use that money for altruistic purposes is in keeping with that contract is still tzedekkah. And just because it is collected by my government doesn't make it less charitable. That is what humanitarian aid here or abroad is used for. Thirdly, stop biting the hand that feeds Israel. Since 1948 Israel has been the LARGEST recipient of foreign aid somewhere around $142-$238 billion in today's inflationary valuations. Source: Middle East Monitor, Congressional Research service etc. It wasn't only Republicans who made that possible but mostly Democrats. The Clinton administration gave Israel marginally less ($26B) than the Bush administration($30B). Obama provided the most $38 billion in aid and loan guarantees under a democratic administration. In 2020, both a democratic and republican authored a bill to provide Israel with over $3 billion in aid yearly. Trump may have offered the largest aid package to date. I am not sure. BUT we will see what Biden will do. But oh the ignorance, hipocracy, arrogance and foolishness of Republican voters never ceases to amaze me. Diaspora Ro
It isnt Tzedakah if its forcibly taken from you...its theft.
God gave people bechira...no Govt has the right to take the liberty Hashem has given us.
There is abundant evidence of fraud on multiple levels..but I have a feeling my time and resources would be wasted attempting to prove this to you. The same holds true for my argument concerning the criminally misspent tax dollars.
I live in Israel these past ten years B"H...it has been the safest and the quietest these past four years. The fakestinians had their budget slashed when Trump withdrew US funding from the PA. The PA had no money to incentivize their terrorists. But that argument will be wasted on you as well.
The Democrats are anti Israel and a portion of them don't even hide their bias against Jews altogether...they support and encourage radical groups like BLM and Antifa whose charters call for the destruction of Israel. Any religious Jew that votes Democrat at this point is either blind, foolish or only "culturally" Jewish. The only thing left about you that I wonder is why you are lurking around a religious site that is for God fearing people and opposes everything radical democrats stand for...including but not limited to abortion(up until birth horrifyingly enough), gay marriage transgenderism ect. These are against the Torah and no religious Jew could support these things defacto no religious Jew could or should support the Democrat Party.
I'm not interested in replying any further and I have nothing more that needs to be said
NOTHING is a perfect name for you. Your head is filled with conspiracy theories and misinformation. Who are you to question my devotion to Hashem or why I visit this site? As for political parties, average Americans (52%) and nearly 70% of Jews think the Republicans are antisemitic. Google an article from the recent Times of Israel to read it. Far Less think there is antisemitism within the democratic party. Just look at republicans Green and Boebert with their Jewish conspiracy stupidity and Jewish laser junk. The truth is there are crazies on both sides of the aisle regardless of party affiliation. Stop attacking other Jews who have different perspectives or who aren't Orthodox. We answer to Hashem not to you! DIASPORA RO
