Just a few days ago, it was the yarzheit of Reb Elimelech of Lizhensk, and a fire broke out causing immense damage:

It's very tragic, but for sure there is a message from Hashem. Having just experienced myself a huge loss to my property in Chutz Laaretz I can relate to this, and the message is very clear to me: TIME FOR JEWS TO STOP TURNING TO CHUTZ LAARETZ! TIME TO TURN OUR EYES AND BODIES TO YERUSHALAYIM AND ERETZ YISRAEL! If even Sifrei Torah burned, this must be a very, very strong message. Not in any way whatsoever to put Rav Elimelech down, Chas Ve Chalilah, on the contrary. But maybe even the bones of the Tzaddikim should be brought back to Eretz Hakodesh, just as the bones of Yosef HaTsaddik had to be brought back so the Geula could take place. Now we are also on the treshhold of the Geula, and the bones of the Tzaddikim have to come home! And the JEWS have to come home! We are approaching Nissan the month of Geulah. Everybody have a wonderful Pessach.
I hope your own loss will be fixed soon DS, sorry to hear that.
I wonder if the fire is related to Poland's ''Holocaust Law''

Wow...DS, you are so right!
This space is too small to explain, but i heard first hand story related to caskets, the casket of Yosef ha Tzadik and blessing from Harav Berland.
Time to come home, especially for our Tzadikim!
Note: AM ISRAEL are Tzadikim, all of us! Come alive, please!

Thank you for your kind thoughts, Devorah, and for your encouragement, Orna Nitzevet. Interesting how you found that link about the caskets, which was posted a week ago... something must be in the air about it.
Regarding your comment about the Holocaust Law of Poland, you made a very valid point, Devorah; however they claim that candles were the culprit. Would it be arson? It could be... which would be one more compelling reason to leave that cursed land; take the bones and the Neshamot attached to them back to Eretz Yisrael and leave that poisonous land to rot there, all by itself. I am sure the structure was very special, carrying so many Tefillot, full of Kedushah; but now the place is wrecked, not even a skeleton of it remains after a fire ( unlike the water loss I experienced), so why hold on to a dead body ( and I mean the house HOLDING the bones, not the bones themselves!)? Take the ashes of the Sifrei Torah, bury them in Israel together with the remains of Rav Elimelechm if such a thing is permitted, if not, in a Genizah. That's what I would do. What did Rav Berland have to say about the caskets Orna, do you have a link? Thanks.
The bones are not important, the soul moves on to the next stage or comes back to this world to correct itself even more but those who are alive today must leave the host countries of the world and come to israel.
But more than anything they have to repent (do teshuva) or nothing will help them anymore not in israel and not out
We are the lowest generation and if one more passes by, then there will be no judaism left so the end has to be now
This is message not only to Poland but to all of European Jewry because antisemitism not only from Christian europeans and neo Nazis is rising sky high but even from wild Arabs in Europe and it is time to correct ourselves and repent or they will have the rights to persecute us heaven forbid.
And Jewry in America more than any other place in the world had better clean themselves and correct themselves or they will fall together with the wars and the downfall of America because it is almost totally gone in america
The fires are also message that the rabbis are crying and suffering from their graves at what is happening in the Jewish world today and all of the decadence and decline of Jewry in Europe and america more than any place and it has finally caught up in israel so the end has to be now
To: Anon @7:55 pm: Bones are also important and there is a holiness to that too. There is such a thing as kavod hameis and anyone who could bring the bones of their holy loved ones to E.Y, they should.
Also, regarding teshuva, we are told by chazal that H' will see to it that all Jews will (even if at the very end) do teshuva. Every Jewish soul has a portion in Olam Habah.
One other thing, there might not be a world left as we know it, but Jews, Torah and Judaism are eternal and will never, ever be lost!
DS...no link, just heard about his blessings. It was connected to the caskets.
There is also a common sense aspect to this tragedy in the kever of the holy Rabbi Elimelech.
Lots of candles should not be lit inside a tent made of flammable material.
Spiritualy I will leave it to others to explain.

EXACTLY!
Of course bones have importance...one of the five parts of the neshama remains connected to the earthly remains and it is from the Luz bone that Techiat Hametim will happen!!!

The bones are important. The Luz bone is the source from which resurrection can ensue.
