    1. Yes he did say that. What i didn't grasp (due to all the static post-shiur) was whether he was speculating about Jonathan Pollard as potentially becoming the next prime minister OR Moshiach Ben Yosef. That part was very unclear to me. He could have meant either/or.

  3. I don't understand this infatuation with Pollard. He will not be PM for one very good reason. He can't speak to the people! His Hebrew is worse than mine, otherwise I would run for PM. Further he doesn't have the temperament to connect with all Israelis. He will not be PM. After Bibi, b'ezrat Hashem, we will be with Moshiach, who is not Pollard. Nor is he Moshiach ben Yosef. Good grief!

    2. I wasn't infatuated, rather was trying to figure out what the rabbi was speculating amid the static, which blocked me from deciphering him. I vaguely heard him mention Pollard in relation to "something". What that something was, I don't know.

As for my feelings about Pollard, it's more like awe that he allowed himself to be tortured for so long in that horrific dungeon within the U.S. prison system, rather than cave in to the antisemites who were out to imprison a list of rabbi's on false charges. Can you picture yourself being on that kind of level, as to sacrifice yourself for others to the degree which he did? The fact that Rav Eliyahu especially travelled to visit him there - isn't that telling? Would you attribute "infatuation" to the Rav?

    3. I have no idea about this list of rabbis that he "protected." Can you tell us more? As for the tzaddik's visits to him when in prison that is another matter entirely. I am talking about post-release, the conversations that are happening today. Many voices call for him to be PM or predict that he will be PM. As I wrote, he doesn't have the temperament or language skills for the role. And, yes, I can imagine myself being tortured to death to save Jews. My family was in the resistance, so it's in my blood. How about you? By the way, did anyone notice that Trump is proposing to "own" a piece of southern Lebanon, along our border (rightfully Israel) to "save" us from Hezbollah aggression. It will be called Trump something.

    4. Gavriela you sure speak tough, like maybe you've done some bungee jumping in your life. Well, bravery might be in your blood but not mine. Actually my maternal great-grandfather resisted the Nazi's by blocking their entry to his shul, so the Nazi's shot him. But my genetics are barely from my mom's side. I'm physically sensitive from my autoimmune condition, thus have a much lower pain threshhold.

As for Pollard, I can't recall on which Machon Shilo (or other) video he was interviewed, but on that episode, he said that in prison, he was shown a list of rabbi's names. I vaguely recall him stating that he had no clue who the rabbi's were, but as a former spy himself, he knew the rules of their game. He knew they wanted him to falsely "snitch" on the rabbi's, so that in return, he wouldn't be tortured. Yet despite his intimately knowing what they had in store for him, he refused to cave in to them. Sure enough they tortured him horrifically, and he can absolutely relate to what the Gaza hostages are enduring. I don't remember details verbatim, so do not quote the above, but i guarantee you i viewed such a video. In fact, if you have free time on your hands, why can't you do your own due diligence and unearth that interview?? I suggest starting with the Machon Shilo videos first.

P.S. So you stated your reasons about his not becoming PM. But what's your reasons for nixing the possibility of MBY? (In case that's what Rabbi Kessin speculated behind the loud-static.)

    5. From my understanding, the aspect of MBY can be made up of various people, not just one person.

    6. From my understanding Moshiach ben Yosef leads us in wars, which would point to Bibi, not Pollard. And they will try to kill Moshiach Ben Yosef. Again the shoe fits Bibi. I have watched some of his talks with the Rabbi of Machon Shilo. This is why I say he doesn't have the temperament. And if you've seen them all then you know the forbidden speech issues.

    7. Bibi has been given an extra soul to assist him in this mammoth task. It is called "ibbur neshama" when the soul of a great Tzadik comes down to a living person to assist him in a difficult task. The extra soul is that of M ben Yosef.

  4. Doesn't Techiat Hameitim have to start 210 or 214 years before the year 6000 according to the Zohar....because that would be be this new year 5786 on Rosh Hashana.....

    1. Also, the words in Isaiah say בְּעִתָּהּ אֲחִישֶׁנָּה - 'in its time I will hasten it"
My interpretation of this is that we are now b'ito... in it's time... and Hashem will hasten it.... in other words it will be at the beginning of b'ito, 214 years before 6000.

      I'm quoting from Isaiah 60:22 https://mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt1060.htm
