Mashiach Part 9 : Survival Kit- How To Survive The End Of Days: The Most Important Shiur I Gave On Mashiach
And here is the famous video of Rabbi Levi Saadia Nachmani zt''l, speaking in 1994 [about a month before he passed away], warning us about Korea's nukes.
How to survive? Is this for real? Why can't we post quality content instead of this fear-mongering jibberish. Moshiach is not an apocalypse coming to destroy, but a time of joy and Divine light which will chase away all evil and darkness.
The very notion that Moshiach must involve physical wars and destruction is old-fashioned and has been negated by those who know and teach the Torah of Moshiach I.e. Kabbalah and Chassidus, especially and particularly how these relate to Moshiach and the new age. Anyone who thinks otherwise is still living in the dar ages and as our sages say "the Moshiach that is coming, they don't want"
If you'd bothered to listen to the shiur for even five minutes, you would know Rabbi Zitron is speaking about SPIRITUAL survival.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even you, but I often wonder about some readers such as you who come to my blog and have never bothered to comment on any of the positive and uplifting articles here - ''quality content'' - but are very quick to jump into passive aggressive mode, and attack me for something when the chance arises, just as you have done.
As for the Korea video - that happens to be a current threat and a very Googled subject of interest to many. Rabbi Nachmani zt''l was a tzadik after all.
1ambition, with all due respect Torah is not old-fashioned. It is relevant for all times and all generations. Gibberish comes in many forms and gibberish's main source is the vessel of ignorance-meaning lack of knowledge on a particular subject. From the content of your response it sounds like you need to learn much on this subject in order to understand it. The very minimum is the potential for wars at the coming of Moshiach. Moshiach's arrival is not all joy and Divine light automatically. Moshiach's arrival is a process and this process involves many potentially tumultuous elements. To be quite honest with you, North Korea; Persia (Iran) and other nations are explicitly mentioned in Navi regarding Moshiach's time arrival/situation. Yishamelim and what they do at the End of Days is old and deep rooted, too. If you can look at the extreme military build-up in the Korean waters and NK's threat and compare the warnings from our ancient texts and not see a correlation then there is nothing that I will be able to explain to you. Torah is relevant in it's many forms and sources.
Another Survival Kit? Where is Shimon Apisdorf? He wrote a whole series of Survival kits (Passover, Purim -One Hour Primer, Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur). This lecturer reminds me of Shimon Apisdorf. Point by Point by Point.
On the serious level of PHYSICALLY surviving an EMP from N. Korea or something like that, I would also make a few points specifically for Jews who live outside Eretz Yisrael. The rules for inside Eretz Yisrael are different.
1. Have non-perishable food storage in a rural or small town location away from as many urban roving gangs as possible
2. Do it with a group of Jews and righteous gentiles. Make sure that you have a checklist on recognizing a righteous gentile by objective criteria, not because he makes you "feel good" as a friend. This requires a checklist of midot that righteous gentiles would have. There are objective criteria for recognizing a righteous gentile for crises such as these. Do not be a Prepper alone. Be in a Group of like-minded good people.
3. Every Adult should carry a weapon (hand gun, machine gun, bazooka) and should spend time in shifts guarding over the Group and the non-perishable food supply. Know how to use your gun, shoot accurately, and carry it safely.
Remember there will be large numbers of roving gangs, about 1/3 to 1/2 of them being Jew haters. So Be Prepared!!!!
Shirat Devorah is my favorite website for all things Jewish , I enjoy it immensely , thank you for all your efforts that you have put in for your readers who I am certain feel the same way as myself , may Hashem bring the Geula Brachamim already !
Rabbi Efraim Palvanov What is the significance of recent seismic events in Syria and Damascus? What might we expect for the region in light ...

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Ya. At least come up with some sources as Devorah tries hard to do!!
