If I understand it correctly... as the Egyptians were experiencing the judgment and destruction of their way of life and their 'kingdom...' at the same time, the Jewish People were seeing the Greatness of HaShem and His 10 Spheres... One was elevating UP as the other was descending down?
So, when the End comes... and the Final Redeemer has taken his role... the Jewish People will see one side of the things that will occur, and be elevated thru them, but at the same time, the evil will see the other side of it /destruction to this evilness that will come to an end, forever? One occurrence, but two Purposes and two different things going on at the same exact moment? Is this what you are saying? WOW. Baruch HaShem!!
This is not quite the same, but ... in building the Tabernacle in the Wilderness, they made the Curtain that separated the Holy from the Holy of Holies... This one Curtain had a lion on the one side.../earthly bound so to speak... and the other side had an eagle... heavenward bound, soaring upward...... two different Places... two different elevations... one here on earth, and one to be elevated to the Heavenlies... could you look at it kind of like this also?

I just looked at a Rabbi Kessin video from 2107. I don't remember which one. I find it fascinating that he mentions a solar eclipse taking place that year that will be a bad omen for Edom, and America, specifically. It traveled the length of Oregon (think Portland these days)'til S. Carolina. He describes the eclipse as being beautiful, showing the sun's "corona" behind the moon.
Bad omen, American, corona,...sounds pretty fascinating to me.

Thanks, Devorah. Another point: Rabbi Kessin also mentions in that lecture, that the last time there was a solar eclipse was 1918, 100 years ago. That is the year, I believe, that the Spanish flu pandemic engulfed the world, including America.
I enjoyed his shiur, however, I still don't see the connection with learning Mishnayos as a way to encourage non observant Jews to become more spiritually prepared for Moshiach? I'm not sure if he explained how that would happen? Can someone shed some light on this?
