Prophecy and the Iran Showdown - The Tamar Yonah Show
Four classical Jewish sources, spanning nearly two thousand years, foretell a cataclysmic war involving Persia (Iran) at the End of Days. These are not vague allusions. They are specific, detailed, and converging on the very geopolitical reality unfolding before our eyes.
1. Pesikta Rabbati, Piska 36 “Rabbi Yitzchak said: The year in which the King Mashiach is revealed, all the kings of the nations will provoke one another. The King of Persia will provoke the King of Arabia…and the entire world will be thrown into panic and confusion.”
2. Talmud Bavli, Yoma 10a The Gemara records a dispute regarding a prophesied war between Persia and Rome at the End of Days. One opinion holds that Persia will fall to Rome; the other holds that Rome will fall to Persia. The passage establishes that a decisive confrontation between these two civilizations must precede the arrival of Mashiach.
3. Tosafot, Avodah Zarah 2b The succinct 7 line Tosafot o details how Edom will squash Persia. Their downfall clears the stage for Redemption as this final event precedes Mashiach’s imminent arrival
4. Kli Paz — Rav Shmuel Laniado (1603–1657), Commentary on Isaiah 34:6 Writing over four hundred years ago, this great Mekubal of Aleppo identified “Bozrah” in Isaiah’s prophecy as the Hormuz.[Also see Hormuz and the Final War in the End of Days] He declared that a “great slaughter” (Iran) would take place there at the End of Days, and sealed his words with a blessing: “Happy is the one who understands this sign before the Redemption.”

ReplyDeleteListen to the end, he also thinks that Trump is doing a part of Eisav's tikkun and that he is a reincarnation of eisav..... which matches what Rabbi Kessin has been saying for ever.
I don't have much hope for this final battle to happen anytime soon. However for sure Hashem is in control and only He runs the clock. Personally I'm done with Trump. He broke his promise to the Iranian people and despite the buildup of war ships, I believe Trump doesn't want a war to play into the minds of voters during the mid-terms. There's also all that money.
ReplyDeleteGavriela, while i've often debated you, this time i'm =partially= in agreement with you. For one thing, you never know if the 40,000 or more slaughtered Iranians might not be gilgulim. Although i must say that the Persians of Haman's era had already gotten their punishment via the Jews.

(2) Secondly, since Trump chose to broadcast to the Iranians to battle the regime, the onus was on HIM to synchronize the timing of his broadcast, so that (as per his apologists) the months of prep necessary to topple the regime should be =way= before his message to the Iranian people.

I wish I could calculate the cosmic clock and know what time it will say on Purim.
Anyone reading this who knows how to do that? What time will the cosmic clock say at the start of Purim in Israel.
Remember something.... counting from 16 January 2026 - the 47th anniversary of the day the Shah was exiled from Iran.... if you count 47 days you end up on Purim. And of course Trump is the 47th President.

The 24th of Shevat was Feb 11 which is also the National Day of Iran. On that date, which was either yesterday or two days ago depending where you live.... Trump and Netanyahu had a 3 hour meeting in the White House. It was a very important meeting no doubt setting up the coming final war.
Also, I think it was the 24th Shevat again, that Iran burned an effigy of Baal their demon god with Israeli flags on it, not sure if the US flag was on it as well, I didn't look too closely .... that was a declaration of war

The fact that Trump and Netanyahu met for several hours today and did not have a follow on press conference like they usually do is very telling about something imminent.
ReplyDeleteTrump today told a reporter who asked what is the timeline for a decision on Iran and he said over the next month or do implying no rush that’s what he did last time. If everybody remembers, he said another couple of weeks we’ll know - and it was that Shabbos.

ReplyDeleteAnd, by the way, the war already started June 2025 on Shabbos…which continued on January 31, 2026: the bombing of the naval headquarters killing the chief of the IRGC’s Navy, and on February 6 this past Shabbos… whereby from Trump’s viewpoint, he doesn’t want to rattle markets so he always executes these events starting on Shabbos, but that’s not Hashem’s reason why He makes the events fall on Shabbos. The trilateral exercises between China, Russia, and Iran are set to take place in the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman, and the Indian Ocean—regions that constitute the core of U.S. military deployment.

The U.S. hints at war.

DeleteFrom what i gather, Trump knew that China's achilles-heel is "oil". So he took over Venezuela, which China wanted to retain (via his ties with Maduro). He also knew that China wanted Venezuela in order to retain a strategic foothold nearer to American turf. So he pre-empted that.

The prophecy in Gemara Yoma resolves, rather inexplicably, that Persia will fall to Edom. The discussion continues to question the resolution, (presumably because Cyrus merited to facilitate the building of the second Beit Ha Mikdash, and Edom destroyed it) that is is a gezeira in Heaven, and the matter rests. Persia will fall into the hands of Edom, and Edom will rule the world for 9 months.

ReplyDeleteI think the texts say differently. The 9 months is the galut Ishmael. Persia destroys the world after defeating Edom. And then all the nations come to Israel to take Yerushalayim. Anyway, I think there are many interpretations of what the Naviim were saying. None of the Iranians have been burning Israeli flags. That was not the demonstrators. It was either IRGC or Basij or Muslims forced to do it.
