Before you can heal from sin, you must first be broken.
Then, it requires self-restraint/isolation in order to subdue the animal soul.
איסקפיא - Iskafya: suppression, self-restraint, subduing
Broken
First comes the shattering
Then the isolation
You must be hidden
from the world
To escape the ayin hara
To subdue the nefesh habehamis [the animal soul]
To retreat, heal and learn
The light comes down and illuminates
This can take years and years
To retreat, heal and learn
The light comes down and illuminates
This can take years and years
To re-emerge, with the glory of the nefesh haElokis [the G-dly soul]
A transformation
The emergence from the cocoon
You are repaired
You are re-born
Whole again

Does not the crack line remain, even when the broken vessel is joined again... with glue or whatever form in this comparison of the soul... What do you think...

That's a very good question. Yes and no. The crack is still there, but I think it's like those Japanese vases that have been repaired by putting a pure gold coating over the crack.
DeleteIt is re-born as a new vessel, even more valuable than before.
That's just my opinion, other people may have different experiences.
When you re-build yourself.... you transform your previous sins into mitzvot, because those sins led you to teshuva. So you have been repaired with pure gold.
I heard if u repent out of love not fear of punishment then ur sins turn into mitzvos. Otherwise repentance just erases the sins which is great also Malky
DeleteThat makes sense. Maybe for some people it is a bit of both.
DeleteThe Lubavitcher Rebbe used love to bring people back.
Lubavitch means "city of love".
Thank you so much for this..
ReplyDeletePersonally it is helping me.. and i am trying to amends... Hope i can finish to re-build me... Amen and Amen.
