While I didn't yet listen to the last little bit where Rabbi Kessin is taking Qs from the girls, please convey to him (if you can) that there can't be absolutism applied here. Because while its true that lots of USA is "Unholy Sodom Amorah" (or Rabbi Kessin's version "United Sodomites of America") - still - one must acknowledge the many exceptional individuals sprinkled amid the bad apples.
So I think the situation may be more comparative to Mitzrayim, than Sodom.
During the era of Sodom, there weren't even 10 righteous ones to be found. By comparison, in the USA you have, for one thing, many upstanding Jewish people, both frum and non-frum, among whom is Dr. Simone Gold (who has now been incarcerated under fearful circumstances, which is the ultimate sacrifice). You have frum youth who have resolved to abstain even from textphones (which awes me). You have Pearls (Parents for Educational Religious Liberty in Schools), and also Non-Jewish homeschoolers who are being opposed by progressives. There's Dr.Malone, Rudy Giuliani, thewashingtonstandard.com, allsides.com and for sure plenty more like those. And then there's those who are striving toward less suppressive media, such as Joe Rogan having courageously offered Dr.Malone a platform versus Covid vaccines. Finally, lets not forget the steadfast Amish! M.M.
Mind you, I'm not saying the rabbi doesn't have a point that there's a huge amount of bad stuff going on in the USA. Even putting aside the shenanigans of government and corporatocracy, wherever you visit online is rampant with leitzonut and barbs, though granted, a percentage is probably not even American. Still, if someone posts in an analytical style lengthier than say, two paragraphs, they're practically guaranteed to be ridiculed. Twenty years ago, the net way more courteous, since many of the old guard was still alive, but these days? For sure it's a cesspool. The commies definitely have been making inroads. The group-think indoctrination; the one-size-fits-all mentality; the sowing of unrest; the vilification of justice, and justifying villains; the technocracy; etc.
But the USA is still a far cry from there not being 10 righteous people. M.M.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
