1. Was one of the turning points for Esau the spurning of his birthright/Genesis 25:34
2. When Jacob asked Esau to see him his birthright, was this a test to Esau to see if he craved and WANTED this Job? Maybe Jacob knew he was being used as a messenger at this moment in time, as the one who would test Esau????
3. Was Esau's taking of a wicked wife at 40 years old, the result of his decision of point #1 above? Thus... this wife or wives, would turn Esau's heart even further away from his Divine Purpose...?
4. I heard that if an evil man marries a good woman, she can influence him to turn and do good... but if a good man marries an evil woman, she will influence him to turn away from good and do evil.
Was another reason for Esau's turning... the wives he married?
Not having Leah in his life to influence him BACK to his Divine Purpose.... left him without his Divine support system???? As you spoke about in the shir....
