On the same day, Friday 10 February, lightning strikes the statue of "The Redeemer" in Brazil.

Message for the nasty anonymous who I deleted:
There is a story doing the rounds. A man living in Turkey could not pay his rent. His landlord was not sympathetic and evicted him and his family from the house. Then the earthquakes hit. The house was destroyed.
Now the landlord and his former tenants family are all living in the same tent.
Moral of the story: don't try and be superior to others. Try a little rachmones instead of hatred when you want to make a point.
PS I know the statue has been hit several times previously, but has it ever been hit during the parsha where Hashem specifically tells us not to make statues of other gods?
