n a stunning first for the three-week conflict, US President Donald Trump has publicly slammed Israel over a secret attack on Iranian energy infrastructure that, he claims, Washington knew nothing about.

Crude oil prices skyrocketed five per cent on Thursday following devastating attacks on Qatar’s massive Ras Laffan LNG facility, sparking global energy supply fears.
Mr Trump’s admission suggested that America was blindsided by Israel’s initial strike on South Pars – part of the world’s largest natural gas reservoir.
“Washington knew nothing” of the Israeli attack, Mr Trump declared on Truth Social, vowing “NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL” on the Iranian site.
The ultimatum marks the first major split between the longtime allies since fighting erupted.
If Iran complies and halts its Gulf strikes, Israel must back off. If not, Trump warned America would “massively blow up” the entire South Pars field.
Tehran has conducted multiple revenge attacks across Gulf energy sites following Israel’s strike.
Earlier, US Vice President JD Vance made a surprising Iran war admission as he acknowledged the US “has a problem” with petrol prices and Americans were “hurting” at the pump, even as his boss the president has downplayed concerns.
Trump lies

Makes no difference. I'm convinced that when Trump lies, it's due to orders that come to him directly from the One Above. Ditto for when he says the truth. I think that (ego notwithstanding), he's for the most part receptive to such orders, especially given his history during his previous administration, when personnel surrounding him, double-crossed him. The lessons he learned during that saga, were further reinforced by the multiple vindictive lawsuits against him, and all the personal/public miracles he experienced vs. assassination attempts.
