An Exact Calculation

Who remembers the first night of Chanukah last year?  Bondi Beach.... the murder of 15 people..... have I jogged your memory?

15 is one of the numbers of Hashem's Name: it is a Yud Heh : Yud is 10, Heh is 5 = 15.

The Talmud finds an allusion to the period of time for a full-term pregnancy in the Hebrew word, “harayon” הריון –which also means “idea.” The numerical value of “harayon” is equal to 271, which is equal to nine full months [Niddah 38a].

Now, let's count nine months from the date of the Chanukah attack... in fact let's count the number of days of a pregnancy, as specified in the Talmud - 271 days.

From the first night of Chanukah 5786 until the first day of Rosh haShanah 5787 is 271 days or nine months... the exact duration of a pregnancy.

You can see it for yourself by clicking here.

What are the chances?   Coincidence?   We don't believe in coincidences.  In Jewish thought and the Torah, a literal "coincidence" does not exist. Instead, what looks like random chance is viewed as Hashgacha Pratit [Divine Providence]—a hidden signal or deliberate moment orchestrated by G-d.

"The State of Israel was built. Israeli society developed. And now, quietly, tens of thousands of non-Jews on multiple continents are choosing to live by the universal moral laws given at Sinai to all humanity. They are called Noahides. They are awakening. They are organizing. And for the first time in history, they have an address: Jerusalem.

This November, the most committed Noahide leaders from around the globe will gather in Jerusalem — to formally establish the World Noahide Movement.

The question is not whether or not this will happen. It's happening. The question is who will be there when it does."
