What is happening now is more the Death of Mashiach ben Yosef. Remember Bibi the last pre-Messianic king of Israel spoken of before on this blog dealing with Zecharia 12, a Levite from the House of Natan? trying to do teshuvah for the sin of Shimi ben Geira?. Let us look quickly at how he dies or how we die in a sense at the end of the end of this exile to make way for Mashiach ben David:
Zecharia 12:10 י וְשָׁפַכְתִּי עַל-בֵּית דָּוִיד וְעַל יוֹשֵׁב יְרוּשָׁלִַם, רוּחַ חֵן וְתַחֲנוּנִים, וְהִבִּיטוּ אֵלַי, אֵת אֲשֶׁר-דָּקָרוּ; וְסָפְדוּ עָלָיו, כְּמִסְפֵּד עַל-הַיָּחִיד, וְהָמֵר עָלָיו, כְּהָמֵר עַל-הַבְּכוֹר. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me because they (the nations) have thrust him through; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.
