''Many will run to and fro''

And you, Daniel, close up the words and seal the book until the time of the end; many will run to and fro......  [Daniel 12:4]

I'm not too sure exactly what the Prophet Daniel was referring to, but I know that right now people are running to and fro - to and from hospitals !   So many people sick, and with dreadful illnesses. The rest of us are being kept busy, running to and fro, hospital visits, making and bringing food, picking up other peoples' children from school because someone in the family is very ill....  A time of trouble indeed !

Here's to a refuah shleimah for some special people:  Libby Chava Leah bat Sharonne Rivka and Yetta Golda bat Alter.

"Well, in our country," said Alice, still panting a little, "you'd generally get to somewhere else—if you run very fast for a long time, as we've been doing." "A slow sort of country!" said the Queen. "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"

May H' have mercy and send a refuah shleimah to all cholei Yisrael! Believe the apathy of the Jewish people on what is happening in EY is causing much anger in Heaven. Those I speak with and are religious but still don't accept the fact that we are living in keitz hayamim and anticipating Moshiach's arrival. Their typical comments are - 'when I see it I'll believe it'. Where is the true emunah? Religiousity has become an automatic ritual. We all better wake up for the sake of klal Yisrael.

Can running to and fro apply to the huge displacement and movement of peoples around the world right now? Ukraine, Europe, Middle East, West Africa and more? Or does this only apply to the Jewish nation?

Not sure if these statistics are true. These people typically lie to support an agenda.

Check out this shuir on coming of Mashiach, on You Tube:
Moshiach / Messiah the hope of Israel

A tzadik sees everything. If you see that all of the kingdoms are fighting against one another, get ready for the coming of the Maschiach. Avraham Avinoo had faith and relied on HaShem. HaShem loves us. What, he created people in order to destroy them? He loves us. People used to asked the Kutzger Rebbe, where is the Abister (God)? And he said wherever you'll let him into your life. HaShem wants us to open our hearts us to him. Says that the nations will have arguments and the king of Iran will scream and have an argument with Saudia Arabia. And in the end Iran will destroy the world but the Jews will turn to HaShem for himself. This is what's happening in Yemen today, as we speak.

Alter Rav said all of the nations will fight with each other, they will try to destroy the Jewish people but they'll end up destroying themselves.

R. Eliyahoo Lapian says that WW1, WW2 and then the war after that will be the war right before the coming of Mashiach.

Only the people that will be saved were the people that had fear from heaven. What is fear of heaven? Not that a person never fails but rather it's the fear of being far from God.

Running to and fro at the time of the end means the great confusion descending upon the world. Mashiach, who is well hidden, does monitor the events intervening and directing the outcomes.
The rumours that Mashiach comes in a week or two have only the value of keeping the vision alive, but Hashem's messenger's coming will take some more years. Yisrael isn't ready to accept the Mashiach right now, in fact none managed so far to identify the Mashiach, although he walked in Yisrael and was seen by many people at the Kotel (we presume logically he goes there to reinforce the holiness of the place).
Yisrael has to become exhausted before identifying the Mashiach. Right now Am Yisrael is at the beginning of the great fear for survival, the preliminary stage of national cleansing in anticipation of ushering in in the olam haba. More than ever klal Yisrael should pay attention to living a righteous life for this is the final judgment to secure the eternal life of individual souls.

12on,
You may be right in what you say,
but i have also heard some Rabbis say, that if people do not change their ways for the better, then too Mashiach will come, but then that way will be too painful for all the world.

The process of Geulah started a long time agp; it is a process, but we have reached the end time of this process and H' says that in its time, I will hasten it. Truly believe Moshiach is at the door as most of the real Rabbonim have been saying. Think that this bothers many, religious Jews and, of course, secular, who don't even believe in Moshiach, r'l. While things are still going okay in the galut for many, they are too comfortable and would rather not have him come, not so soon anyway. A big mistake. One of the first three questions that is asked (after 120 yrs) of the Jew when he gets to Olam Emes, is 'did you await eagerly for Moshiach'? Hard to believe when a Jew is not eagerly awaiting G-D's great love for His people and righteous humanity and would rather live in a world of chaos and depravity, which is now.
