He said that Moshiach would come in 5770 then 5771 then 5772 then 5773 then 5774 then 5775 then 5776, 5777 and now 5778
Every year is auspicious for Moshiach to come, if only we have done enough teshuva to tip the scales.
It is highly unlikely, as a whole Jewish nation, we have done or will ever do 'enough' teshuva. Isn't that predicted as well?
