Very good post. He said it all in a nutshell. This was a very good lesson (shiur) for the typical secular Jew (and even for orthodox believing Jews who have become too comfortable in galut) who does not understand that anti-semitism is and was always a wakeup call from Shamayim! Sadly, the Jew has become so assimilated, he thinks on the same level as non-Jews trying to figure out the answer to something that should be understood by every Jew, if they only knew some Torah and the whole reason for our being. This video is very pertinent and important for this time in our history as we are getting very close to the ultimate Geulah!
I haven't seen this video yet, but by chance watched a video yesterday by "Jews For Judaism" on Antisemitism. The rabbi said that antisemitism always ramps up whenever a Galut is coming to an end. That's the historical trend.
He also pointed out that the worst kind of galut is one we don't even notice we're in. In other words, we're comfortable ... settled in. This escalation in antisemitic attacks, and antisemitic rhetoric (even by Congress members!) may mean that the American exile - in which the Jews have thrived like nowhere else - is drawing to a close. Very sad what's going on now.
Ok, I just watched. Tzvi nails it. My background is similar to his - grew up secular but traditional, and came to appreciate the truth of Torah later in life. And just like Tzvi, I walk among sleeping Jews and constantly say, "don't you SEE it? I just see it. I see it clear as day. Why can't you see it??" LOL. My friends and family think I've gone off the rails.
So true about many in the Frum community studying Torah for its own sake, but somehow failing to connect it to their lived reality. Whenever I see a new Shul being built here in the diaspora, I think, "what for?".
I think we need another Rabbi Kessin shiur soon. Gideon Saar didn't win the primary over Bibi, as Rabbi Kessin thought might happen. So now what? Everything feels so unsettled and tense.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks for posting the video.
Amen Tzvi. I have been passing out Rabbi Winston's books Geulah Brachamim for years. I always say...we need to "pull back the veil". I actually want to address this post to anone Noahide. I am a Jewish woman who teaches Bnei Noach on Noahidenations.com We have so many supportive classes for Noahides and there are so many great facebook sites as well. If you would like to be more supported bye remarkable Noahides around the world and have access to Noahide Torah more so please email me devora@noahdienations.com and I can help make connections based on what you are looking for as I feel your desire to connect on this mission. (I am a different Devora than the one who runs this amazing site). Blessings to all for Geulah Brachamim!!
Rabbi Efraim Palvanov What is the significance of recent seismic events in Syria and Damascus? What might we expect for the region in light ...

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

The recent anti-Semitism uptick is nothing special. There are always quiet times and busy times.
The current busy time will either peter out or a horrific event (G-d forbid) will occur and then some substantive action will come about.
We Jews (collectively) have two timeframes as the old saying goes, too late or not at all.
In the meantime it's just the same old same old.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
