I’m not sure why people don’t realize that when Moshiach comes very soon, everyone will have abundance of everything. We will all be wealthy in every way! So, for someone to not want Moshiach because they are rich, is beyond ignorant (and self-centered)
the rabbi advising not to watch the news, exactly as i said in this blog, it's a garbage that we put inside our sole, and then you don't have the mood, and then depression, and ch"ch sickness...Some blogger say that we have to detach ourselves from the goish world, but in reality they always searching in the internet to get for another garbage...We don't realize it's a sickness. So, don't do it if you want mashiach will come any time soon...Shavuot Sameach!
It really seems like the whole idea of Moshiach coming soon is hopeless. Pesach and Shavuos have passed and Moshiach has still not come. The war in gaza and the north continue with no end in sight (looks like Moshiach is our only hope for that to end). Ari Goldwag’s prediction (“Moshiach 17” video) has not come true. The only hope left for predictions seem to be rabbi palvanov’s lecture about the rare comet in September (doesn’t seem too promising), which he was very excited and convinced about, and he connected it to the Zohar and other Torah sources. And then the other predictions I can think of are 9 months under yishmael rule since Oct 7 that end with Moshiach coming (within a few weeks from now) and some prediction I read, possibly on this blog, about the end of gog u’magog starting on october 7 and lasting for 12 months until Moshiach’s arrival (by this coming Hoshana Rabah). Certainly, Moshiach can come today and we don’t even have to wait up to a few weeks.
I agree, all these predictions are based on simanim that we see today that seem to match simanim written about in Tanach, but it's speculation, albeit based on excellent Torah knowledge. I read or watch the predictions as a sort of entertainment, but we can't rely on them. Relying on them brings disappointment. For me, I look for Moshiach every day, and when the day ends and he hasn't come down the mountain I say, " there's always tomorrow." Hanging on"predictions" will bring you down. Stay strong.
Miriam please note that every single prediction that you have is 'certainly' not happening! Please scratch them all from your list.
Now, if you've done that, you can start living. Beg for Moshiach every day, and then move it to the back of your mind for the rest of the day so that you can cruise along as if you'd be thrilled to just be in this world to gather diamonds. Remember that when Moshiach arrives our time is up. So although you and I and all of us should beg and plead and hope that today is the day, we should be happy to have the opportunity to still gather merits every day.
Exactly. I do the same ! The crushing disappointment of moshiach not coming after all these “predictions “ was too much to handle. For the sake of my mental and spiritual health I had to learn to temper my hopes and feelings. Malky
Miriam, man makes plans and Hashem laughs. Hashem will decide exactly when he wants to send Moshiach. But more importantly, Moshiach is a process unfolding all around us. Everything is a miracle....the fact that Israel exists and prospers at all is a miracle of massive proportions considering the Erev Rav that constantly undermine us from within. Oct 7th was a miracle it was supposed to have been so much worse, but Hashem stopped them from achieving what they had originally set out to do. Step by step we are getting closer. Our tafkid is to hope and daven every day and to have absolute bitochan and emunah that no matter how hopeless or dark it seems Hashem is taking care of us and thar he absolutely loves and cherishes us. Do not let the chevlei moshiach overwhelm you, we are all in this together and keeping our emunah in Hashem is the real gog u magog for am yisroel Shabbat Shalom U'Mevorach CSF
By ''it's all over'' I meant to say that our chance to grab Mitzvos and the likes is mostly over once the Moshiach is here. Even though we will still be doing that we will accrue much less merits for it because our evil inclination will have been obliterated. So what I am suggesting to you and to myself, in order for us to stay sane and happy, we should just be satisfied that every day that we are still here without our long awaited for Moshiach is another day that we can grab merits.
And BTW all of your pain counts for unbelievable merit as well!
I heard that if u try to grow now when u have the yetzer hora then when moshiach comes Hashem will still allow u to grow without the yetzer hora and u will be rewarded as if It was still hard for u. Something like that. Malky
Yes Malky. I did know that too. But it is something that we need to get started on while we're still in this current state with the evil inclination..... After Moshiach comes we will 'continue' to get merit for the things we've worked on and tried. So we need to grab while we still have the time. In addition, lots of people on this blog seem to be going through lots of emotional and other pain. It's good to remember, as hard as it is, that ALL of this pain is a gift. Because once Moshiach is here, you've grabbed what you've grabbed. And pain equals merit.
Rabbi Efraim Palvanov What is the significance of recent seismic events in Syria and Damascus? What might we expect for the region in light ...

Rambam said prediction for the coming of mashiach wont work even made by those who knows Tanach well, so stop just waiting, better live and wait

What do you mean our time is up when Moshiach comes? G-d is going to destroy the world when Moshiach comes and then revive us?
