Strangely familiar

I think he inadvertently made a mistake when he said that the Beit Hamikdash stood for '40' years (that was the length of time that King Solomon reigned).
The first Beit Hamikdash stood, I'm almost sure, for 410 years whereas the second Temple which did not have the same holiness as the first, stood for 420 years.

I think he corrected it after he said it.

I read your blog often but don’t comment much. Yesterday, I came back from the hospital after a 13 week miscarriage. I have 2 kids and have had 4 miscarriages. Hoping moshiach comes soon and wipes the tears from every face.

I'm so sorry to read the comment above.

There's a rabbi who is spreading testimonials of daily miracles in all areas of life by following the advice of the Manchester Rav - Rabbi Yehuda Zev Segal ZT'L - who implored people to learn 2 halachos a day of the teachings of the Chofetz Chaim.

This rabbi now has more than 650 personal stories - since beginning this outreach about 6 years ago. There are several books that make this learning easy and impactful - one is called Chofetz Chaim A Daily Companion - and is based on the calendar that the Manchester Rav formulated. The "rules" are to learn it every day, and if one can with someone else - it may be even more powerful - i.e. a family member, friend, spouse...but he stresses each one should preferably have their own book where they can follow along in the text. You can learn over the phone as well with a buddy while reading from the pages.

Each daily lesson takes like 2 - 3 minutes - a tiny time commitment for amazing salvations. Most of his testimonials are of people having their prayers answered within a year or less - many at 40 days.

Apparently, this path of being very careful with what comes out of our mouths, what goes into our ears (and eyes now with texts and websites) is so important in the Eyes of Shamayim that miracles are literally being handed down to ordinary people - the kinds you would hear a huge tzaddik is able to accomplish - for learning and doing this.

The miracles are many but include things like people getting pregnant and having children after YEARS of trying (some stories of 19-20 years), successful births following repeated miscarriages, miraculous healing from illness big and small, livelihood, many shidduch and marriage matches (after years and decades of searching) and more. There are also repeated examples of unbelievable Divine Protection that people have experienced while doing this. Here is a link to close to 30 of his recent talks. He also gives out USBs with hundreds of miracle stories. Can you imagine what the world would look like if a significant portion of our People got a hold of this and added it to their daily schedule?

We now have a WhatsApp group dedicated to helping spread the testimonials in audio and sometimes video form to share awareness and hopefully encourage more answered prayers and miracles for AM Yisrael.

I really feel so sorry for you. It is very hard. It's very very hard. I want you to know that I read a lot about this 'topic' and it gave me a lot of strength when I needed it. Please know that every miscarriage is a child for you nonetheless. As soon as this hazy world is over we will be shown ALL of our children and be credited for them completely. We are so oblivious to the real truth and therefore see every 'bad' happening as just that. Bad.
In reality there's so much under the surface. For one, this child was never meant to enter this world. It's not like you lost it. Its job was just in utero. Period.
I know that this knowledge doesn't take away the pain, but knowledge is empowering and it could help you move on, knowing it certainly has a purpose. And a good one.
