A New Era in the Middle East 馃毃
What Israel has done in Syria this week is nothing short of HISTORIC. 馃挜
Over 480 precision airstrikes have wiped out 80% of Syria’s military infrastructure, leaving the Assad regime in shambles. The IDF's operation, "Bashan Arrow," struck fighter jets, missile batteries, radars, naval ships, weapons warehouses, and more—completely obliterating Syria's offensive capabilities.
Assad's military? GONE.
Hezbollah's power? CHOKED.
Iran's influence? CUT OFF.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t just about Syria. This is about ensuring Israel’s survival against decades of threats—from wars in ‘67 and ‘73 to the funding of terror groups like Hezbollah and Hamas.
For years, Iran and its proxies surrounded Israel with a terror infrastructure designed to annihilate it. In just one week, Israel has dismantled it ALL. Hezbollah is isolated, Hamas is weakened, and Syria has been sent back to the Stone Age.
And Iran? Crickets. 馃 They know they’ve lost. No amount of money or bluster can fix this. Israel has left them naked and vulnerable, with zero aerial defenses and zero ability to rebuild their terror network.
This is what happens when you threaten Israel. The IDF has shown the world—yet again—that Israel is not just a survivor; it’s a force to be reckoned with.

I believe that ALL of this is outstanding!! I do wonder though, (just wondering......) why Hashem is using the Israeli government to do so much of this cleaning up??? If Hashem wills it to happen, it can happen in no time with a Moshiach government....

I think we are getting moshiach on the back of a donkey. Donkey in Hebrew is chamor," whereas materialism is "chomer"....
Moshiach comes either on the wings of an Eagle (high exalted and spiritual way) if we have the merit. If not, Moshiach comes on the back of a donkey, (more materialistic less obviously miraculous way), case in point...the Zionist Israeli government.
Although if you ask me it's all been miraculous every step of the way. The fact the the rashaim erev rav in the government are constantly sabotaging the country and yet we prevail nevertheless is clearly Hashem's hand. The miracles with the missiles that we saw daily, weekly is insane.

Regardless of how you think all this is happening, the One Who is doing this is only Hashem. Please acknowledge that Hashem is choosing, at the moment, the IDF as His shliach... While we are grateful indeed for the competence of our amazing IDF heroes, and we daven for their safety and success, our greatest praise and ho'daah is for our Father, our King in heaven...
Maybe the process is meant to look as "natural" as possible-at first.
And aside from that, there are quite a few righteous and well meaning people who serve in the current Israeli gov't. There is a concept from the Torah that a good event is brought about through a person with a certain related merit. Even if he is not perfect, and even if he is far from righteous in other ways. ("Megalgelim zechut AL yedai zachai.."" Not sure if it's a Midrash or where, but I read it in the Chafetz Chaim's "Guard Your Tongue."
