DeleteI agree with Sharon. How can anyone get all hyped up? This was obviously going to happen and was known for the last 45 years. No one in their right mind believes that the Iranian regime would peacefully give up their nuclear ambitions. Our job is to speeden up Moshiach’s arrival and not have to wait for the deadline which is 215 years away- the year 6,000.

Ariel are you aware that techias hameisim is scheduled to begin 214 years in advance of the year 6000? That would bring us to 5786, but 5786 would already be the start of techias hameisim if we use that calculation.

According to Rabbi Yitzchak, the resurrection process could extend over 214 years, beginning after 40 years of the ingathering of exiles (Kibbutz Galios).

If it’s so true that Moshiach must come before 5786 or 5790, than why are there more Jewish homes being built and renovated in the diaspora than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime? Why has the Rav of my shul, who is a HUGE talmid chacham not shared this fascinating news that Moshiach and Techias Hameisim must begin in less than 15 months?
