Also let's not overlook the huge amount of tehillim said continuously for the hostages, despite disillusionment that many of them kept dying of maltreatment and/or remained there in such horrible circumstances. That too, could have contributed to the Hoshana Raba release. Also let's not forget Rav Kolodetsky sleeping on the floor in solidarity. No doubt there were many others like the Rav, in all sorts of ways.
Can somebody please clarify - what have we done to Ishamael through the centuries that warranted such painful spiritual settling of accounts? Glad the nisayon is over but I am totally confused by this 20 minute shiur and need clarity. AP
Exactly what complaint do they have? No, cannot agree with this interpretation. They were also blessed with 12 tribes and their culture was always 'nomadic' and they made great wealth. But, mostly, they lived by the sword. Where is it said that retzach should be rewarded. They were given rulership over the Land for 1300 years because they have their brit mila (which is not the same as ours) and they believe in one God. They have their brit at 13 and that is why they were given 1300 years to rule in the Land while we were in our galut. Jewish blood spilled by both Yishmael and Eisav cries out from the earth. We pray that from hereon we need to pray there will be no more Jewish blood spilled by anyone ever again. Ken Yehi Ratzon! Amen!
The person who up-loaded this video says it all in the caption. Qatar are not peace-makers, ok? Australian journalist Erin Moran.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
