Geulah b'Rachamim - Rabbi Pinchas Winston [videos]

This material is based upon the Geulah b'Rachamim Seminar Manual, presented in the Carlebach Shul in Ramat Beit Shemesh [Sept. 15, 2011], and was made into a DVD for free distribution.

Part 2 of the seminar asks and answers the question: Even if we are the end of days, why must we get involved in the redemption process?

Rabbi Pinchas Winston presents the third part of the Geulah b'Rachamim Seminar, dealing with the question why the Jewish people seem to overstay their welcome in exile. This part looks at the concept of Nitzotzei Kedushah—Holy Sparks—and what they have to do with the Jewish people, exile, and redemption, and ultimately, anti-Semitism.

The continuation of: What must we do to mitigate the impact of anti-Semitism, but only after a discussion about Holy Sparks.

Dear Devorah,

Please publicise the petition in support of Shalom Eisner.

And a word to anyone who isn't convinced, the video of Eisner is an edited clip of not more than a few minutes, after a two hour event, during which one of the "peace activists" broke Eisner's hand. Also please remember the Al-Durrah affair, for which Israel wrongfully apologised.

I'm surprised that neither you nor anyone on your blogroll has written about this yet.

I heard this with Rabbi Pinchas Winston. In the story of Jonah, how is it that Jonah was sleeping in a wooden ship when all the sailors were running around to save the ship from sinking? This is metaphor to Moshiach and our days. When all the goyim are running around saying this is the end of days, Jews are sleeping, not a care in the world. Over 7,000 earthquakes in the past 30 days. Now a sinkhole in Sweden. Same old, same old hardly. If you live outside of Israel, start your aliyah file but the rush with Nefesh b' Nefesh.

Very glad you posted this on your blog, Devorah. I also posted these same videos back in February but I included: Introduction to Rabbi Pinchas Winston's magnum opus, THE BIG PICTURE: THIRTY-SIX SESSIONS TO INTELLECTUAL & SPIRITUAL CLARITY. The entire project can be purchased online at

Rabbi Winston was kind enough to respond to my email questions regarding aliyah. I learn much from him.
