On Oct. 2, 2024, an annular solar eclipse will pass over parts of the Pacific Ocean, southern Chile and southern Argentina.
During an annular solar eclipse, the moon drifts in front of the sun while it's slightly farther from Earth than during a total solar eclipse, so it doesn't completely cover the sun's disc. Instead, it leaves a distinct ring of light around the moon, which is why an annular solar eclipse is also known as a "ring of fire" solar eclipse.
At the point of greatest eclipse in the Pacific, the moon will obscure 93% of the sun's center, creating a "ring of fire" visible for 7 minutes and 25 seconds.

I find joy in the thought that Moshiachs arrival could happen very soon, I am trying to do my part on a daily basis; the 3 T’s, Torah study, Tzedakah and tefillah. There are 10 percent of the Jews observing this, we are waiting for the 90percent of the Jews to get on board, recognize Hashem, do Yeshivah and then, Then Moshiach will come. The xtians are all talking about the Star of Jacob, not too many Jews talking about the Kochav Yaakov though. There was one article I saw but it was quoting Rabbi Palvanov.
Anyway, I've seen quite a few Tik Toks about it from the xtians who believe it is the same star of Bethlehem that was around when jesus was supposedly born.... I've even seen a video of the actual star, or what I believe to be the actual star.
It's not making mainstream news, but that's not unusual, they're too busy attacking Israel to worry about anything else. We're not even being told about all the destruction in America from the hurricanes which are still coming, and the floods everywhere else.

CS Yes I thought that comet was the kochav Yaakov until Rav Chaya said it's not, because it appeared the same day as the T Cr B which is what they are calling the Star. T Coronae Boraelis is the full name.
Then again, the Rav said we don't necessarily see it with our eyes, it could be a spiritual thing... but here we have a giant comet and a giant star. Spoilt for choice.
