This was written by Rabbi Pinchas Winston in 2012.
I have crossed out his estimation back then, and replaced it with the estimation from now.
According to the Zohar, the entire period of time allotted for Techiyas HaMeisim is between 210-214 years in advance of 6000. These are not the opinions of obscure rabbis, but of Rebi Yehudah HaNasi, the author of the Mishnah, and Rebi Yitzchak, a central figure of the same time period. They are, therefore, mainstream opinions, with which no one argues, at least not in the Zohar. As hard as this may be to fathom, that Techiyas HaMeisim may be only 14-18 years away, months away, there really is no reason not to believe it.

ReplyDeleteIt makes no sense to me how Moshiach AND techiyas hameisim will both be here in less than 4 years. And according to Rabbi Isser Zalman Weisberg- Moshiach in less than 2 years. Seems too good to be true.

I'll tell you one thing, Dorit. Methinks the Haman of NY came along to throw a scare into the community for celestial reasons. I won't elaborate much on this topic in public, but suffice i've been on the receiving end of continual decades of extreme aggravation. It's quite possible that this blog's readers will be clueless about this, as it may be outside the realm of their own experiences.
