Does anyone else admit these truths? As far as I know, most hosts beat around the bush to one extreme or another.
...the thing is, Fleisher and other lecturers need to also address bald truths about logistics. After all, there are many many disabled and poor people, for whom the current Israeli infrastructure would worsen their plight (that's if they can even manage to travel there). Halacha mandates that people should seek to improve their situation, not worsen it. Thus, barring major miracles, the disabled and poor people would be the ones left behind, as happened during pogroms and the Holocaust, not excluding Dora Bloch in Entebbe.

ReplyDeleteThe rabbi is totally off the mark, Trump is not an instrument to bless Israel but the exact opposite. Trump is most likely Gog, when will the rabbi finally wake up. Glad he is finally criticizing Trump as should be. Trump has not only made mistakes like the rabbi mentioned but outright cursed Israel. Trump is Gog I am convinced and many Torah scholars and other rabbis agree.

Yes, we can believe him on this point. The truth is, and everyone knows it, that the US aid package benefits the US more than Israel. Our defense industry has spent the last year ramping up production and other non-defense industries have created new lines to help with bombs and other munitions production. It's not something you hear much about because other topics are occupying the news cycle, which in my opinion, is fine. Bibi has had to play the game, but I believe he has grown tired of it and he sees the writing on the wall. He knows his brother Eisav very well.

ReplyDeleteI don't grasp your line of reasoning, because that's like throwing out the baby with the bathwater. It will punish the Orthodox Jewish residents more than it will punish Trump! And isn't that one of the factors you say Trump is being punished for? I.E. extending the pain of the Jewish hostages, by not destroying Gaza?
After all, Trump could have been paid back middah k'neged middah by means of Mar-a-Lago, or his other estates, couldn't he?
All the negative posters against Pres Trump need to go back and listen to Rabbi Kessin in the summer of 2016 where he clearly stated that Trump would be the next Pres of the US before he beat the 16 career politicians to get the nomination. Research on what even made a businessman run to be President that was orchestrated by Obama "blasting him" in a public forum. i.e. Yishmael initiated that Trump run for President. Then go further back and listen to the series of Yaacov and Aisav. Rabbi Kessin has never waivered on how he understands Trump based on the Hashgocho of The Ramchal. It states in the Torah that the "Elder will Serve the Younger" i.e. at the End of Days - Aisav will serve Yaacov. It appears that some posters are new to all the concepts for which there are hours and hours of talks by Rabbi Kessin and are merely picking on a "few minutes". We have the Golan due to Trump. The US embassy is in Yerushalayim due to Trump.

All of what you say may be true, however one only need to look at recent developments to understand that we need to be wary of Trump. Firstly, the US is in need of money. Midterms are coming, and the GOP will lose seats if the voters don't see improvement in kitchen table issues. Gaza and Israel are not kitchen table issues despite the zombies. He has made a deal with the terrorist in a suit, the new leader in Syria who has already announced agreement with Trump that we will retreat from the Syrian Golan. Trump is desperate to separate the Saudis from Putin. He will most likely give them the jets they want. But this will not push them to join this so-called Abraham Accords. The Saudis have been clear a fakestinian state must first be declared and established before they will join. This week at the UN Trump will introduce a resolution that is a rewrite of the 2d stage of the ceasefire that we were forced to agree to. The requirements for Hamas disarming has been softened and a timetable for the establishment of a fakestinian has been added. Rabbi Kessin is very learned, and I mean no disrespect but he is not a Navi, nor does he claim to be. Trump is Eisav, and what we need now is to daven to Hashem to save us from our brother,Eisav, as our forefather Yaacov once did.

We are living in a world of misdirection where the whole focus is Gog and Pres Trump - the real enemy of the Jewish People is Armilus - the head angel [Sar] of the Eruv Rav.
The Eruv Rav is "the leaders" who want to destroy Eretz Yisroel and the Jewish People. i.e. Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist Leaders AND all the Secular Zionist Leaders who want to remove Yiddishkeit from the Jewish People.
The real battle is now against the Eruv Rav which is the MOST DIFFICULT battle since the Eruv Rav are Yiddin and it is so difficult to accept that Yiddin want to destroy Eretz Yisroel and the Jewish People. [See the Zohar which has a lot to say about the Eruv Rav.]
The Eruv Rav is a "cancer" - just as the body struggles to fight the cancer since it is its own body !!
